There’s a lot of “wild” going on in Alpha’s poem, Maybe it’s a Wildcat?

I suppose it could even be something a little different to the fighters we’ve been discussing....something like a Douglas Dauntless or Grumman Avenger.?....we will find out shortly!

I’d love for you to be right, I’ve got my heart set on a nice 1600mm FW190 to appear....one day . It will be interesting to see.

Although a number of us have picked up what appears to be a Pacific theme this time around, history shows that Alphas poems are tricky little beasts and turn out to be not what most us were thinking at all (could still be zero though and still maintain the Pacific theme....).....ahhhh the suspense

What? 'bout as probable as anything else here! Or it could be announcing new RC Cars? Why not?

Point to Andrew for making Alpha giggle. Not an easy thing to do.

Unfortunately, tomorrow's announcement cannot be a Tornado because the poem is missing the number "4" for GR4.

Same here, but I dig his poetry.

Perhaps Motion could curate and publish a small volume of Alpha's sonnets and jintishi to be included in orders over $99.

Interesting that there is a Col. James B Morehead that was nicknamed ‘Wildman’ and this legend and flew a P40.......coincidence and way off track? I guess we will see......this is fun

Yes, I think so. 😊 During the development of the F4U and F6F the Navy had prototypes of the two planes sent to either company to see if there’s was anything the two design teams could learn from each other, to improve both products. The people at Grumman was a bit put off at first since they thought their Hellcat looked like “the box the Corsair came in...”.

So my guess will be that it’s time for “the box”.
