Mines ready to fly just need to do my HUD cockpit illumination mod. This version is my wife’s only jet she’s really likes with the Iraq 🇮🇶 Desert Storm scheme. I was there kinda sentimental to me also

Good Evening All. I must be doing something wrong...maybe you can help me out. My F15 will barely get off the ground. In the air it's really slow and sluggish. I bought the 6s 5000 pack with the plane. Are there any upgrades to get this beautiful bird up to a respectable speed? TIA...Jim

first confirm the discharge capacity of your 6S5000 battery，it should be more than 130A
then your can use motionrc newest 6s EDF 4068 1750kv
at last your can change your electric tuning to high angle mode

A very easy power upgrade provided you have the newest 6s EDF is to install the exhaust reducers. There are 2 PDF files one for a stock EDF and the second for a aftermarket use the standard. Mine which I made my own reducers from PCV took mine from a top speed no matter how I tried was 106mph once I did the reducers immediately went to 117mph. Rotation was very noticeable to everyone at my club best upgrade I can suggest, also the 90 F18 exhaust nozzles work if you can find a pair they aren’t sold separately from what I was told. Here’s a few pics and I went to 55mm on my existing diameter hope this helps

I just completed a 8s conversion on my F15 no update speed wise yet had a good 2 minute save to get her down in one piece. Found one taileron not centering all the time why I believe she would just get out of control at times parts ordered hopefully won’t be that long to remaiden. Power wise holly crap 8s huge increase able to CG down to SMC 4400 reg lipos there high volt packs 49/4100 and also there 59/5100 packs. Only 3 flights again parts ordered but flight times look to increase from 3 to a easy 4 minutes with smart throttle management
