I've been really tempted to get one of these. Maybe if I loose my 80mm I'll save up a bit and get one.Comment

You and me both! 😉 But concerned about taking off a grass runway as they claim it's not suited for that. In the meantime I just upgraded my FW 90mm F16 from 6S to 8S. Great results, better flight characteristics, short grass take offs and increased flight time to over 5 minutes. 🤗Hugh "Wildman" Wiedman

Good call on the 90mm Hugh...That old fatty needs to be modernized desperately.
This HSD F-16 requires some room to breathe for sure. I am elated I have access to a wide open area finally! My YouTube RC videos:

Well I just picked one up, the program box display screen failed in it, and was wondering if anyone had a spare available.1 PhotoComment

No worries, I'll probably end up buying one from hsd or something. There are just settings I want to do that were not set by the guy I got it from. It'll still fly, but it's just not up to the potential I want it to be.Comment

That was me Aros....
I tried to get that box working but it just never would power up the rx, I did some soldering on it and changed out resistors but no matter what I did to it, it was dead, what ever you did to it Aros I have no idea but its junk now..

Ah, that was you? Yeah all because I tried to fit my pilot head turn lead into the stuffed receiver...A pop! Then that dreaded electrical smoke smell and that was all she wrote. Thanks again for yours...Serious good karma points on your part! I hope to maiden soon finally! My YouTube RC videos:

Sweet looking F-16 you got there.
I sold both of my HSD F-16's for now, have to say they are one of the best flying jets I have ever flown in my opinion. I was going to get the HSD F-86 to fly for a bit but they went out of stock right after I sold my F-16's so I'm waiting to see if the supplier of HSD jets is going get more EDF jets in stock, I did hear they were not, so we shall see.Comment

It's true that they are really nice flyers even if my heart is in my throat every time I fly her, lol. I have a hard time getting past knowing how heavy she is and the damage that could be done in the event of the worst case scenario. Most if not all of any issues I've had flying or landing her was due to my Dumb Thumbs (aka "nerves") flying in places with too many obstructions. I finally live by the ocean so I can fly her with unlimited runway (low tide) and space. The next great weather weekend I will be taking her out on her test flight. I'll get there nice and early so there's no crowds.
