      • I'll be surprised the A10 by FW isn't 1-2 or even 1-1

        • I'd be all in, but axe the slats etc and keep her light... She's already draggy!

That's fine... I'll just remove them like all the porky T-45 extras haha!

Yep! LE flaps, afterburners, and full gear doors please. And a nicely detailed cockpit if it isn't too much to ask :).

Nah, keep it simple and light so us poor folks can afford it:)

                    • I have my $$$$ saved. Would love to purchase FW A-10 but earmarking that $$$$ for an F-4 Phantom!

                      • As much as I like what I see in the A-10 coming soon the more I want a Phantom. A really good Phantom. Not an unflyable Phantom like the eflight or a crappy Phantom like the LX. I want one that Freewing and Motion would be proud of Could go twin 80 or single 90. Prefer the 90 out of simplicity and cost.

The other major desire is for a 90mm A-7 Corsair II. Remarkable history. Went from design to first squadron in 26 months.
Not too many models out there outside of wet turbines. Jet Hanger has one but its in a different price category.

                        My rant for the day!

                        • And that A-7 had a BRRRRRRRTTTTTT long before the Warthog was even thought of.
I would luv one also but the gear small wheels and low "maneater" intake would not be very turf friendly

                          • I spent most of my childhood and teenage years near an air national guard base. The First jet i remember flying over was the F-100 in 1978. In the 1979 they switched to the A-7 and the F-4 Phantom. The F-4 looked soooo awesome. It was so loud. It was phenomenal! Since we lived by a large lake and the base bordered that lake. In the early eighties there were a few occasional sonic booms. Since then, I was hooked on the Phantom ever since.

                            • There are so many Vietnam era jets that I would love, the Phantom certainly among them, especially in the 90mm Super Scale series. But, that said a 80-90mm F-100, F-105, and of course the F-106, would be must haves as well. The six is still one of the most under-modeled jets out there, despite still being the fastest single engine jet to this day and the last dedicated interceptor. The Mig 21 80mm powerplant would be a nice fit for a good sized Dart :).

                              • As a kid growing up in the 60's , F-4s would launch out of Grissom AFB and routinely break the sound barrier.....we used to run out into the yard to try and
                                see them.....

                                • I would love to see a USAF camo F-4 come out.
I was just getting ready to buy the FMS version and they became discontinued.

I have found the A-7 Corsair II an interesting aircraft ever since it was announced it would be coming to the Digital Combat Flight simulator. After learning about this subsonic light attack aircraft’s capabilities like the ability to carry a capacity of 15,000 lb of a mix munitions I was quite impressed. That would translate to being able to carry large batteries in an RC model.

The A-7 Corsair and the F-4 Phantom are two Vietnam era jets I am looking forward the most in flying in DCS and in RC form.

                                    • I'm also a fan of the Corsair II, growing up right on the flight path into Lockbourne AFB, 20 miles out, there was a constant reason to run outside at the first sound of a plane! It was usually a tight 4 plane formation of ANG A 7's.
Today I'm within a mile and see mostly FedEx and other freight carriers, and its called Rickenbacker International Airport. There are still frequent visits from current military hardware, especially when a storm threatens their bases. I miss the Corsair!

                                      • I have the fly fly hobby F-100. I decided to strip it down, and paint it.(Paint it like the one at Wright Patterson AF Museum. I'm lucky to live 20 mins from it) Still a work in process. I am very leary of the way the flying stab was designed on it. Very small L shaped pins. I think I am going to use hardware from Freewing F-16 to beef it up. Laid in a lot of cf rods in wings, fuselage and vert & horizontal stabs. Probably finish it next winter. I hav added Flaps and a rudder. Not impressed by the kit. Would be very nice to see Freewing do a F-100..... After a Phantom of course.
