Welcome to Hobby Squawk Condor! And welcome to the A-10 Arctic Camo Club, I'm a fellow member myself (mine is below). LOVE this jet, probably my all-time favorite Freewing jet to-date. Great flight and love the sound! You mention you didn't know we were here so I am curious how you found us? Welcome aboard and I look forward to more posts, flights and video!

Hey guys, Well, this is my first post. I didn't know you guys were here. lol

I did the Arctic camo on the A-10 and installed a sound system. Thought I would upload the vid here and hope to learn all the cool stuff you all have been working on.

    I love this plane.

What is the best way to remove the plastic nose piece without ruining anything? Never mind....I got it.

Steve, the cannon looks and sounds great. Wish I could get my sound system working at least. I'm back in painting mode. After decals, should be ready to clearcoat this weekend. Would be even better with the sound card working, but I'll maiden it before I get that setup. I'll shoot some photos before that of course. Don't tempt fate.

Thanks Tom! I am going to shorten the delay on the cannon sound a little more but other than that I am happy with it.

Yea I’m debating just leaving it alone bc it would
take some serious deflection for it to hit and then even if it does worst case it just rips the door off.

Ok I’ve got my upgraded gear installed and now I’m trying to figure out the nose door mod. I know some people are stretching the spring and then putting a rod in to hold it in place. That seems a little challenging. Has anyone just cut some of the door off so it doesn’t rub?

Btw, there was never a real A-10 painted in the grey/black arctic aggressor scheme like the F-16. There was one A-10 getting white paint applied on top of the greenish scheme to test an arctic camo. In addition, there was a so called „flipper scheme“.

The funny thing about the couple of A-10's painted like this was that it was truly just an experimental test. Can't remember where they got the paint from but it was just latex paint so that afterwards it was easy to clean off. But wasn't as easy as expected until they got repainted you could still see the 'ghosting' of the white sections even after it was cleaned off.
