I have some experience with various planes. The craziest I have I flown are the Lippisch, a timber x and the little voodoo p51 and have a bunch of easier planes. How difficult is this plane to fly with some experience? The realflight has a nitro B25 and I’d say it flys quite nice. I wanna get one but aren’t sure I have enough experience yet.

I'm competing in our Belgian F4H (World Air Sports Federation aka 'FAI' flying scale model aircraft) championship with the B-25. After a top score for the first flight despite a "too fast' comment from the jury, for the second I tried to be more scale. Unfortunately, it was too slow for the bird and the take off did not end as expected...
However the jury found the take off very scale this time.
So a new bird and spare part (mid wing section) were ordered and delivered. The nacelle and fuselage, I'll try to repair them and convert the B-25 with the 3D gunship nose version because the front of the fuselage is not symmetric anymore. This will become my trainer. The new one will be my competition plane.

Regarding the CG and weight, mine is with recommended CG and 4.170 Kg, I'm using the Admiral 5000 (730 gr) batteries and I need a bit of extra weight in the front.
I fly about 9 minutes and I have a bit more than 50% left in the battery.
What I noticed after about 10 flights is the engines started to move in the nacelle one after the other... check your screws, they get loose!

Hi, I'm installing new main gear doors after a crash, and I don't know where to insert the clevises and pin into the servo and gear door. The manual didn't really help me all that much. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could post a photo where both ends are inserted. Thank you so much.

Using an Admiral 5000 6S. Battery placed all the way forward, landing gear down .... and plane is still a bit tail heavy. Are most people adding some nose weight ?

Mine balanced correctly with a 6s 5000 lipo and no additional weight was needed. Note that different batteries have different weights and some aircraft might indeed need a little extra weight.

No. there are no needed upgrades just assemble program and go fly. There is an assortment of different Liveries you can install or you can find many more at Callie Graphics for this B-25

Finnaly got some decent weather here in the Black Hills. So I loaded up my Flight Line B-25 and put the Test flight on it today. The B-25 First flight went trouble free and very little trim change She's a Keeper I went ahead and put 6 Flights on it. Not certain why 'maiden' just doesn't quite fit for me, either.

You mean TEST FLIGHT I have heard of test pilots, but not maiden pilots, For some odd reason I just do not like that term. but that's me LOL!!!The Test Flight went off just fine. Now it's going to a friend of mine for the nose art and detailing. The man is an awesome artist with an Airbrush. In fact last year EAFB had him do the Art work on the tail of a B-1B for the Anniversary of the Doo Little Raiders. he is a retired Airman

To many planes not enough time. I have had mine ready now for four week. and will have a 2hour window tomorrow morning to test fly it. I am flying mine with the Admiral 5100 carbon 70c batteries every thing programmed, plane balanced ready for the Wild blue

I'm new to flying RC planes. I have flown some small 2-foot wingspan planes before, but this is my first significant plane. I have a 12-acre field surrounded by trees, and I was wondering if that would be an adequate-sized area to take this plane. How much room do I need for this plane, and what is the service ceiling? Do I need to worry about this plane going higher than 400 ft? Also, I only have a rough gravel drive for a runway. Is that recommended, or should I find an AMA field with an asphalt runway?

Very nice work Bob! My first choice would be a 498th aircraft but that falcon looks a little intimidating (painting wise), the 499th ship would be a very close second, and easiest of all (but still kind of interesting) would be the 501st ship.

The painting was actually ptryy easy.

The yellow and green are the paints. The other - the eye, mouth and diagonal jagged line ant tail are decals from Callie-graphics.On a scale of difficulty 1-10, this scheme ia about a 3.
Mask off windows, spray the green uppers and grey lower sides, and apply decals.
