I attached a few photos from the event, the unmarked photos are mine, the rest are from photographer extraordinaire Lee Ray. Lee and I also did some formation flying with Tigercats that was a ton of fun! Definitely a great event for anyone in the area.
Good show and well done, from a fellow Texan.

        • Finally got to maiden my F22 yesterday! It did not disappoint for sure! Can't wait to get some more flights on this soon!

Flew a few others yesterday of course but only got pictures of the F22 and my 64mm Stinger. Pretty cool to see those two side by side. That was my first EDF I ever got and the F22 is my latest. Pretty cool to see they both are Flightline and both from MRC.

            • Maiden flight for my FMS Kingfisher. I was happy - 5 flights without a major mishap. But boy - does it balloon when lowering the flaps. Half flaps set it climbing almost straight up. Guess I will have to program some elevator mixing.

                    • Couple more after work flights today. FW 70mm F16 for today! This one is definitely the toughest EDF I have to get off the grass.

                          • The weather was finally decent again today, on my day off of all things:Cool::Cool:
Off to the field with BBD, the Bearcat and Pandora 1. Basically the Pandora goes so if I have to demonstrate something for the guys I'm training, I'm flying the same plane. Also, it's a great wind plane;)
Everyone behaved themselves and came home whole, I replaced the stock wheels with Dave Browns on the Bearcat and it makes a big difference. Now if they only came with scale looking rims for the P-51's, I'd switch them over as well.

The Pandora is also my go to wind plane especially with the gyro in it. It stays on top of keeping the wings level on those cross wind landings, which are common at our field while I concentrate on rudder input to take out the crab just before landing.

                                    • The CZ Cessna is one impressive plane. Flies terrific and looks like the real deal landing on the mains. It would make an awesome scale FPV trainer to fly traffic patterns if only the windscreen and windows were clear.

For aerobatic FPV training, I love the FMS PC-21 for its excellent ground handling, precise aerobatic maneuvering, and easy landing characteristics, even in very windy conditions. It’s huge, clear canopy makes installing FPV eqiuipment a breeze. I miss mine.

Here’s a LOS flight I did a couple of days ago with a friend’s PC-21 in high wind. Plane handled it like nothing with no gyro. Wish Motion/FlightLine would make a 6S version of this. It’s one sexy looking bird (after a proper 1600 Mustang that is).
