Curious note ......................... What is the historic timeline for a world release of new and new version Freewing planes where they show up first in the Asian market? We've seen that planes that are "special" to Motion RC tend to not get released to places like RC Castle for 2 to 4 months. Since this V2 has just shown up in the Asian market, when could N. America see it sold by MRC and/or RCC? The same 2 to 4 months?

Pretty disappointing, to be honest. But I'm glad we'll have a steady supply of 90mm Raptors for the forseeable future.

I've seen planes in stock at Motion before FNRC gets one for review though FNRC usually is first. That said lately Motion has been disappointing (64mm F-14 and P-51 parts...), yes I said it.

I have two perfect 90's, one 6S and one 8S. Both modified with TV and the 8S with wing tip lights. Not much reason to buy the V2.

I wish I had the skill and the nerve to do that mod. I'd love to have TV on my F-22. BTW, it's the 8S. If I got the V2, would likely be the ARF+. Sell the old one as an ARF+ or strip it for parts.

Right, the ones I saw were 6000-7000mAh, but if the weights provided are accurate, should be good enough!

You have my attention. Lately, I've been getting the Zeee's and departing from the SMCs mainly due to the price. I have been satisfied with the Zeee. I'm considering getting more of the Zeee's (4S) to power my 8S planes. Do you have an idea of why the 6S version feel better than the 8S version? Is it strictly due to reduced weight? 590g is even lighter than my old Codder 6s LiPos.
Can you provide a link as to where you are getting the GNBs from please.

Weight and they seem to not sag like other batteries. They make a matching 2S too. I now have 15 of the 6S and 10 2S. I am selling all my other 5000, 5200, 5300, 6000 and bigger packs and using these in my 70, 80 and 90 6S and 8S.

Very enlightening. They even have free shipping. How do they ship? As I understand it, LiPo batteries can't be shipped by air (or can they?).

I've made two large orders. Both times I had to pay shipping. It was "ground", ship to L.A. then Fedex Ground. Took about 3 weeks but the first order got lost, they said China Customs and resent the order. I got that lost order while in Spain (got back yesterday) and have been trying to get them to understand that I got something I didn't pay for and not that I didn't get a shipment. I'm not one to keep something I didn't pay for.

Their site says free shipping to Europe.

They have sales twice a year, Chinese New year and he said something else but I forget at the moment. The sale was 10% off.

I am a firm believer in buying a lot of what I like because you never know if they'll have it next moth or next year so I now have a lot of these. I also got a bunch of the 3500 6S but they didn't have a HV version. I needed that size for a specific set of planes and I needed it to be light, around 430g. GNB batteries have a really good rep in the drone group.

I should have mentioned that Amazon.ca sells GNB in very small mah sizes. The biggest is in the 3000mah size. If I order, I'll go direct to GNB. Have to take inventory of what I need.

I am reluctant to order for delivery to Spian , it says shipments sent by standard post are free of duty! Not sure that works in real life Spain.

Duty is generally established by your own government. A seller in another country can't guarantee that duty (if your government charges it) won't be assessed when your shipment arrives at your port of entry. So, it's up to you to ask if your customs people will assess duty on that particular type of good/service when it arrives. Where I live, it depends on if the courier or postal service decides if they are going to broker it and send it to customs for evaluation and whether or not customs decides if it's worth it to process it. In Canada, we do not have duty on "hobby supplies" but we do have tax. Again, if customs decides it's not worth the trouble, some things don't even get taxed. As for batteries, it may not be declared as "hobby supplies", so I must tell the seller to make that declaration.
