I don't see it in any of the "Plastic parts" sets. Would be very easy to make with a 3D printer. Or make one out of thin ply or ABS sheet and glue it in.Originally posted by Tipstalled10 View Post

They are located deep in the recess of where it popped out. there is a plastic piece with a hole for the nub. Took me using a dental pick to find it ! The nubs I created with toothpicks were actually too long, once I shortened them and knew where they went they popped right in. Gear doors fixed. Did not cancel the order for the gear doors, old adage, if you have the spare parts on hand you'll never need them. It's the ones you don't have that you need!Originally posted by kallend View Post
Where did you find them?

Oh, OK. I thought you meant you'd found them for sale on the Gripen spare parts list somewhere.Originally posted by Tipstalled10 View Post

Both the kits I bought this year came with big yellow notices saying the warranty is only good for 30 days. So it's best not to dilly-dally in checking everything.Originally posted by Evan D View PostYou have a warranty, have Motion send you a replacement, whether a wheel or assembly.

I just flew the Grippen, I had a 6s 6000mah pack, had a hard time taking off and felt loss of power even on full throttle. Now this model is running 2100kv motor, I also noticed the wing was rocking and noticed that when you open gear door it flies better. Has anyone. experienced anything similar?
Thanks

It would help if you told us your setup (receiver, gyro, etc.)Originally posted by muzamilabbasi View PostI just flew the Grippen, I had a 6s 6000mah pack, had a hard time taking off and felt loss of power even on full throttle. 2100kV is a 70mm EDF motor... There is no way to get a good balance with a 6000mAh battery. Even balanced by the marks under the wing the Gripen flies very nose heavy. Read about how all of us, at least most of us are balancing ours.
A lot of delta's rock. Especially if it's windy for some reason. Yes, high gains cause oscillations.

Oscillations due to gain being too high are usually very fast. "Rocking" due to delta aerodynamics are generally much slower. It's pretty easy to to tell the difference. I found the Gripen to be particularly susceptible to rocking. I don't remember how I cured it since it was 3 years ago, but I think a HobbyEagle gyro with fairly high yaw gains did the trick.Originally posted by Evan D View PostA lot of delta's rock.
