I like your 'cone' idea, I design in a 'pin' or small 'tab', but a cone works.

Some guys asked me how do the fasteners if they are just glued, because those are very flat.
Here is my answer. I designed them with small tip on the bottom. I send off the stock "fasteners" and push new fastener into fuselage. So there is a hole for the tip. Put a drop of glue into the hole and push the fastener back on place. Fast, clean, easy.

Still working on the fasteners. One side of cowl is almost done. Last morning I upgraded Hispano cannos CAD design and added some details.

Anybody know where I can buy a more realistic RAF looking pilot rather than the stock one who looks more at home flying F4s in the Pacific.

I´m glad you like them. Thanks a lot! I am suprised, that the stock "fasteners" are smaller than they should be. Almost all details are usually bigger.

I decided to replace also the fasteners on the Spitfire cowl. I did first plate of them. I assume, that I will need more of them. There are some missing on nose. Flightline did not do all of them.

Only thing is that they should be flush with the surface though. Nice details so far.

I am a firm believer in you cannot have enough cooling vents for electronics. The added benefit is all the great wind noises for all the vents.

Any issue with ESC or motor cooling? If so, I would drill holes in exhaust base plate and fuselage.

New trimmed exhaust stacks are done. Now they look much better now. I will move them little forward.

I hope I will never see them on my Spitfire! I noticed, that LiPol batteries do the same effect. 😆😆

For those who would need do some repairs I recommend Tamiya XF-82 for the dark grey parts. I hope you see, where I tried that paint.

I did new exhaust stacks rack. Tha one is not final version. Working on the best position of each exhaust pipe. Now I am not sure if the pipes are trimmed enough. I may replace also the fasteners on cowl.
