I did new exhaust stacks rack. Tha one is not final version. Working on the best position of each exhaust pipe. Now I am not sure if the pipes are trimmed enough. I may replace also the fasteners on cowl.

Some sanding today. Almost all rest of nozzles are sanded off. And the first sticker removed.

PK, If you didn't understand my question, it is because I phrased my question poorly; however, you translated it correctly.

I did not recognize the single exhaust stack without it's fellow stacks, I thought possibly you were doing a 3 stack from an earlier Mark.

Naaah 😂😂 I did just one pipe to try how it will fit. It is easier to modify the CAD design and 3D print all pipes from that modified model. Than to cut each 3D printed pipe.
So my Spitfire will have 12 exhaust pipes just like standard Mk.IX. I would like to do them on Monday.

Thank you LB. I am not sure if I undrestand your question. Well I will answer as I understand. I decided for Mk.IXc MJ840. June 1944, located at SQN no.312 "DU L". There is option to do that Spitfire W or W/O invasion stripes. I use to do Spitfires in "312" paint schemes.
When I was sanding elevator I was thinking what do with the fabric covering. I may sand the "back of the foamy ribs" and do new with fabric covering. Not a whole covering but only the fabric stripes.

Stock exhaust stacks removed!! I supposed, that removing will be a job on a minute just like on FMS P-51, but Flightline use some strong glue! The rack of exhausts is not glued on bottom as I expected but on sides. So the second rack was much easier! Just cut it. I must trim the new exhaust pipes before I glue them on the place.

Some little work on Spit tail for today. I replaced trim rods with fairings on elevator and rudder. Tomorrow I must add one trim rod on left elevator, because I lost it somewhere in workshop. 🤣🤣🤣

Spitfire project started. As first I replaced the fuel filler cap. Now I am working on the antenna mast with base. The mast will be removable. I was thinking about small bolt and nut I used on the giant Spitfire, but small pin would be better in in that size.

Thank you Dave. That guy use to take some shot at our airfiled. That was the first time when he took some shots of my airplanes.

I did some new parts. 20mm Hispano cannons, pitot tube and antenna mast.

Nice inflight shots showing the prop blur, Prekin. The cardinal sin for airplane photographers is to use a too fast shutter setting where the prop is "stopped" in midair. I did it myself back in the day. Nice and crisp inflight shots, too. Well done.
