Flying close formation is challenging and lots of fun with friends - the more the merrier. Sharing footage from lead plane looking back at mine and another one close behind.

Nice vid again TF - couldn't agree more, flying en-masse is amazing fun - the tail cam view is an interesting solution to the old venetian blinds issue with prop planes - chk this out, I mounted a Runcam 2 with a modded mount onto the drop tank rail of my desert schemed FMS109 for this vid....

Neil, nice gathering of warbirds with smoke and.... pyrotechnic? Thought I heard firecrackers going off. Looks like a fun reunion of frenemies . There’s a way to get rid of the Venetian Blinds even with camera looking through the prop disk. Use ND16 filters for the lens and prop practically disappears.

Tks TF - yeah, for live we trigger the enola gayes off the tx with e matches - when we did the TV show the eg's were triggered with an infrared guns system. On the vid I just dubbed a generic gun sample on in post at suitable points....

One flight each of the FT Simple Scout and the FW Stinger, before I decided the wind was just a bit too iffy. Had to work this morning, and went out to the flying field after lunch.

Flew the Tigercat, B-17, Little Bird, and P-40 today. Enjoying the low winds and nice temperatures while they stick around.

That first B-17 photo really is something, DeltaDart! All of them, in fact. Who is the shooter?

I flew a little something today... testing out a new stealth scheme

Thanks Alpha! I was actually passing the transmitter with a friend yesterday, so those photos where taken by me. Was nice to sit back and get to shoot the photos for once. I don’t even know where to begin with your photo, but whatever it is, will be looking forward to it!

Well.. although I haven't been able to get out to the field... I did pick up RF9 and have been using the SIM quite a bit. I went the dongle route as to get used to feel on my own radio. It has been an eye opener for me since I can toss caution to the wind (no pun intended) and not have to worry about repairs. Lately I've just been picking a glider out of the line and flyin it in the wind off the cliffs. Really get a good feel for stick control and just spend some time in the air. Still have trouble getting back down from the cliff side. Mainly due to the fact I don't see a landing area until it's right on top of it. Still learning my way around the Sim. Really enjoying it though. So.. although I've not got my personal planes out lately.. I'm still gettin some stick time.
