These are nothing but giant RC planes. They act the same way, the pilots are simply forbidden to fly them that way with passengers. LOLMy YouTube RC videos:

Ok, Airliner Friends, I couldn't resist, I ordered me a Windryder 737-700 kit. I was pondering ordering a few planes, I took a look at the FMS P-40, loved it, but honestly felt like something a little different. I ordered the air frame and retracts only. This isn't a scratch build, but it's far from a pnp. So I will be sourcing my fans & servos from Motion RC as usual, as well as most of the other stuff to complete.
Yesterday I watched a You Tube of someone launching and flying a Slope Soaring version of one of these. Watching that was good enough for me to accept the aerodynamic viability of this model. All and all I'm dreading it a bit. But am now committed. LOL, "Alpha" yur off the hook mate. I got my 737. : )
Best Regards
Woody

Agreed easy to do and someone ought to do it. A dc9 or 737 would be great.Originally posted by Ps2727 View PostIt’s not an airliner but it would be easy to make a DC-9 or 737 to a similar size.
Made with the power system from the Freewing A-10 and sized for similar weight and wing loading.
blue foam and light fiberglass, easy to do!

i can appreciate modlers who go above and beyond
to create their own designs, i know alot of “pilots” who brag about how much experience they have but have zero template build techniqiues.

I'm new on here and I like the ideas of having more airliners. I have the supreme hobbies a340-600 with the extensions on it. It back up and running but need to know where the CG is on it. It's been 4 years since it last flew (crashed) and I have no idea where the CG should be. Any ideas? I also read on hear about the windrider 737. I am on my second one of them. Madian it yesterday. Flew great! I have 3D printed planes that use 120mm edfs. I would love more from MotionRc in regards to airliners too. Something about the wing flex that just get me! Here are a couple of my planes.3 Photos

one quarter the distance of the total wing root from the leading edge of the wing where the wing meets the fuseOriginally posted by SflCouch View PostI'm new on here and I like the ideas of having more airliners. Welcome home, Sflcouch! A 120mm completely 3D printed L-39 is quite impressive, I haven't seen that before.
Your airliners look great, too. Tengarang's CG recommendation is a good enough range to get started, from which you can then make adjustments. On those Windriders make sure all your moving surfaces are level with the datum line of the wing.Live Q&A every Tuesday and Friday at 9pm EST on my Twitch Livestream

Those are exactly the same files I used. Files are easy to print. Had a massive gear problem with the HK retracts that they recommended. Having to purchase JP retracts. Then finally I can have it maiden! I'll re-sand it all down and put a great paint job on it!Originally posted by Dirty Dee View Post

Talk about an overlooked airplane! The first North American commercial airliner, so overlooked as Avro wasn't supposed to have a 'first' anything. Howard Hughes purchased some of these, but like her military sister, The Avro Arrow, she got Lizzy Bordened.Originally posted by AirHead View Post
