It's hard to tell just from one short video of what resembled three maiden flights, but a few things looked promising. A few boxes were ticked in my 'consumer evaluation over the internet with limited video' chart. 1. I'm sure the wind helped but the takeoff rolls were short enough. They weren't struggling to get into the air. 2. The planes flew and with a little variation in speed, meaning not just straight high speed passes, though it would be nice to see a couple of those as well. 3. They didn't stall and spin in with somewhat slower flight and drag from the gear being down. 4. They didn't exude horrible behavior with not so perfect landings, but the not perfect landing envelope wasn't fully explored, so who knows yet.
I'm still interested, maybe more interested! And I'm still waiting to lay my money down!
I want to see it fly more. The solt videos are well produced (great imagery and thematic music, similar to the B2 release) and make it look awesome but are snippets. And 410 productions does have a brief snippet of it flying with the wings swept. But again a full skilled hands flight video is lacking. I am curious where the usual Xfly generated youtube videos are. They typically show a full flight and somewhat the capabilities. I'm eager to see more, and I'm not just shooting it down. People can hype the reputation of a company all they want, and call it blasphemy and hypocrisy when it's questioned all they want, truth is truth, and this fool and his money are not easily convinced by influence. That's always my point. Being critical is necessary. I want to see the unfiltered proof!
(The fan glam and celebrity aspect of youtube, or the assumed expertise derived from just having a camera, uploading videos, or being in a video resembling a knowledgeable person or cool guy, is flat absurd.)
