Looks great!! I still do a lot of "old school" mods with Styrene, Epoxy Putty, Basswood and such although I am designing more 3D printed stuff. No where near the level of Elbee, Dirty Dee or apmech1 but I am getting better. Hey, whatever it takes.

t33jetman, Your antennae are perfect, T33 and RCjetdude, I like your 'old school' work, sometimes that's the only way to get it right. Best, LB

t33jetman or anyone else that might know. I want to redo the antennas with styrene that might be a little thicker. What thickness is advisable to use?

I use credit cards for my antennas and a small brass pipe for my exhaust. Click image for larger version

The middle one is a pipe.

Crap, great idea on using a credit card as I just cut one up to throw away. I guess I could cut up another, it would make the wife happy

You wont like this , but I just took a round brass tube and flattened to shape it to an oval by eye balling it to size with the antenna , the cut it on the bandsaw.

This Covid virus must be effecting me....I was always so happy with the stock power system in my A-10. I just finished installing and flying her with the Freewing 1857kw inrunner 12 blade power system. First thing I noticed was the sound. Less motor whine sound. And I was very happy with the vertical power improvement. Increase in top end speed not real significant, but noticed. Click image for larger version

Is there something wrong with the stock one's? They seem to work just fine.

I haven't had mine for very long, but one thing I noticed was a better "Jet" sound. I talked with a tech at MRC before I bought mine, and he did say there is a big difference in performance over the 80mm 9 blade EDFs. I also installed 130 amp ESCs and all 10 awg wire. I'll post when I get more stick time with it.
