  • Harman Welcome to "The Squawk". Glad to have you here.

Not certain why no one is posting, could be a simple as family and Holiday preparations.

I know we're busy tying up loose ends, though I'll be posting my build starting after the New Year.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

    Best, LB

                • On this B25, is the CG set with the landing gear up or down?

                  • I did it with gear down.

                          • Hello All,
Myself and an other club member had failed B-25 maiden flights. Both models experienced model banking sharply once airborne with no aileron control. I did repurchase a new model and had no issues noted on it's maiden. Has anyone heard of other similar reports?

                            • Sounds like the aileron gyro setting was reversed.

                                  • I noticed a lot of the spare parts for the B-25 are out of stock. I managed to ding mine up….:(

Does anyone at MRC have an idea on when out of stock spares might be back in stock? A shame that this new released model has so many parts unavailable.

I had the same thing happen with mine on its first and only flight so far. Lifted off and it wanted to bank to the left. Went into a nosedive and somehow, I managed to save it and land it in one piece. Still not sure why. I did have aileron control and had to hold right aileron input to keep it straight. I did notice after landing that the right aileron was a little warped on the inner edge and hanging low. I straightened that out using a hot towel and clamps but not sure if that was the problem. I'll find out next time I try. At least I'll be a little bit prepared if it does it again.

                                      • Triple check that the gyro is correcting the right way for all three axis.

                                        • I don't have a gyro in mine. using a Futaba 10j radio and receiver. I did do a pre flight check and all control surfaces moved in the correct direction
