What is an estimated flight time with the Admiral 5000mAh 6S 22.2V 50C LiPo Battery shown in the P-51 ad?

ID:	444867 I was really hoping for a B model, but $660 is steep. Maybe later.

I was hoping to see some footage of the cockpit/hatch cover. From a distance it looks as if they finally got a different pilot. How much room in the hatch for mods?

There is a video of a Chinese unboxing on an RCG thread, detailed footage of the cockpit interior. I think the chap’s YT channel is called FN RC or FNRC. A comprehensive unboxing video.

If I didn't have the FMS 1700mm P-51, I'd be on this one. I'd even consider getting rid of the FMS in favor of this one but the price is a bit steep considering it would be a second one for me.

Here ya go: (May as well turn the sound and closed caption OFF. Can't understand any of it.)

Looks very interesting. Wish the prop was bigger. It’s about 85% of scale. The Eflite P-51 1500mm prop looks bigger on the plane to me.

I suspect Eflite will have a new P-51 1500mm soon.

I wonder if the FMS 1700mm prop blades are closer and swapable?

I wonder if they're the same props they used on the Freewing P 51. I was looking for parts and I see that it's gone as well as the Tigercat. I'm starting to have some rare birds.....

I'm sure if you really wanted to, you could make it work. However ............................... This P-51 uses a 16 X 12 prop, turned by a 390kv motor. The FMS 1700 uses a 17 X 9, turned by a 360kv motor. The FMS prop has much less "bite" than the FL prop. To be more equal, it needs to be 17 X 11. The FL motor is close in kv but is slightly more max speed. The FL plane is about 0.8kg lighter. Hard to say if performance would be the same. You'd have to try it and see.

In a similar line of thinking, it may be worth seeing if this motor would give the FMS 1700mm P-51 a small boost in performance. It came with an 85A ESC, so it may just be able to take it.

My thought as well. First thing to go would be the green paint. I've had three Mustangs, all silver (one Flite Metal) the 'D's weren't green for very long, the 'B's were more likely to be green.
I was leaning towards "Contrary Mary" which was WZ-I, the same as Big Beautiful Doll, but a different tail number and even more checkerboard. My theory is she was assigned the squadron number after Landers left?

FW/ FL has released planes in both green and silver before. That said I doubt they will on this one unless it really really sells well.

I historically liked the silver schemes better thou the silver shows the foam cells more.
