Sweet, checkout that antenna...I just happen to have one of those laying around :)
TI..........what's your source for that antenna?
Am doing mine as Navy squadron VU-4 and notice that antenna !
As I noted over on RCG, the second cockpit was accomplished in reality by the using F8F canopy (on my spares order list).
Callie already did my decals from this pic.
I have one from a LX B-25 but it may be too large, however Borntoolate shared a 3D printer file that I can scale to work.
Your correct on the LX B-25 being too large cause I have a spare one too.
As much as I mod I should really consider investing in a printer.
I would be very interested in obtaining a 3D plastic antenna from ya. Please shoot me a cost at your earliest convenience.
Best regards,
This model is as close to perfection as I've ever seen, the fit and finish are unbelievable. The electronics are laid out perfectly and the ease of assembly for a plane this large is unheard of.
With every new FlightLineRC release the quality just keeps improving, they're setting a very high bar for their competition.
The chicken legs on the mains were killing me, so I designed and 3D printed a beefier looking strut cover. ;) Looks a little more scale now. For anyone interested in a set, I have them available on my site at: http://thercgeek.com/3d-printed-products-services/
These are also from the FMS 1400mm F4U Corsair V3. I did modify the fins to not be as draggy as the stock rockets would be. These are glued on with Foam-tac to keep things simple and easy.
Nice Brandon.........got the same rockets ready for mine after the 25th arrives.
Kudos man, you do still have that child in you!!!.........taking your new toy to bed with ya ..........HAAAA:cool:
