i will report on how it all works out, but it won't be soon... I choose the electron retracts because they can be ordered in 100° version, so perfect for the Bronco...

The first rivets are placed, and it looks kinda' nice..

Please enlighten us on your rivet technique, that will look great when done.

Well, it's fairly simple... i draw all the lines, including the distance between each rivet, and that's the most time consuming part.. then i place the rivets with a styringe using white wood glue... It just takes patience.... done about 5000 rivets so far...

Since the pylons are some kind of plastic/fiberglass, i could not resist engraving some panellines.... will add to the overall "look" i think...

I been thinking how to add the pylons with the least work but to bad we couldn't get them made in the mold but the scribed panel lines will be good. You going to add the M60 barrels and ejection chute on the outward edge?

didier n Nice work! I know the feeling of having to engrave something or work on it in some way to bring out more detail. Did you use a scriber, or just a hobby knife?

I already made the gun barrels, i'll add them once the plane is fully painted. The chutes will not be made because the acces to the outer part of the pylon is not easy... maybe i'll paint them on...

Panel lines are made using a very thin jewlers file, making mutiple passes to get the desired depth....

Hey Didier,
regarding the pylons, a guy in a forum recommended to fill the hollow pylons with „pressure-free“ construction foam (what ever this should be? ) to make them more stable.
can you give me any advice building the M60s ? Or anybody? I would appreciate it...

Hi Axel,

I used about the same method Den did, haven't got any decent pictures yet... Take a good look at the full size, on one side they are on the inboard side of the wing, on the other the outside... i almost missed that one...

I've started to do some painting, wings and center fuselage got their color, and i've been masking and spraying the walkway as well.... looking good so far..

Ref my post #303 or do a thread search on 225MG
If your sticking with the size that best fits the mounts on the hatches, HS-225MG and digital 5225MG are what im using. Plenty of torque and best fit with digitals on the flight controls(5) and analog on the flaps(2)
