        • Here is a side view of the “T34-85-I / KV85 / KVS”. Notice the size compared to the Abrams sitting just behind it. The road wheels are not weathered as this would be a waist of time give how dirty and mud covered they will become in short order....LoL

                          • Now all I need to do is get the red motor's cause the m1a2 was bogging down in some of the mud, and find some more tank nuts to go driving in the mud.

With red motors also consider upgraded tracks especially is you are planning on more mud runs. The plastic tracks+red motors+mud = broken tracks.

                              • Yep got my eye on some metal running gear from Aussie, sprockets, wheels roadwheel arms and tracks. Whole lot for $200.cant go past that sort of deal. Dont think ill upgrade to 6.0 cause from what I've read its a real pain with all the soldering and replacing the existing wiring

If you change your mind, and want any pointers, let me know. I've managed to get my son's TK 5.3 Abrams running on a TK 6.0 board and radio. Yes, I had to solder several connectors from the tank to be compatible with the new board, but so far it runs well (red can motors) on older steel gears, metal sprockets and plastic tracks. The older Abrams don't have adjustable ider wheels unfortunately. Because of this I will stay with plastic tracks. At some point I'll change the rest of the connectors so the lights and BB gun are functional. One note, the turret traverse in these older tanks is slooooow. If you go this route I would definately look to upgrading to the newer fast traverse unit.
