    • Hey Steve, do you use the little half once Model Masters? How far does a half ounce go?

      Comment

      • Hey Boots, yes, I used the 1/2 oz bottles and to each bottle I added about 30 drops of Createx reducer and shook well. I think it took just over 3 bottles of the Gull Gray to cover the top of the model.

          • I've read, on the MRC site, the next batch will NOT be available until sometime in JUNE. I'm still waiting on that "shipping confirmation" on my "Batch 2".

                        • Do you feel like it has a significant effect on slowing down the jet?

                          Comment

                          • I know it does slow it down some but I like it more for the visual effect personally.

                                • Love the SD (super dork) printed whistles, your F-4 sounds awesome! Tell me, Steve, can you program the printer to make them any size? I’d like smaller ones that fit smaller planes like the toss & boss jets. If you bring some to NEFI I will buy them!

                                      • Just for clarification, my "Mega Dork" comment comes from my feeling awkward on video. Fumbling for words and clear thoughts, trying not to say "um" or "uhh" repeatedly, speaking clearly and saying what needs to be said. It is a skill that I have to work on as I don't have the natural charisma of Captain Mike and Pilot Ryan :Smug: but I am trying to get better at. So yeah, at times in these videos I feel like a dork. LOL

By the way, Mega Dork comes from a rock band poster on the wall of Sid's bedroom in Toy Story. I laughed my A$$ off when I saw that...
