You are one the rare few who has actually posted photos of completed/ installed ordinance that I have designed.Originally posted by Topshot19 View Post

On my maiden I had a great flight but came in too fast and bounced the landing. The plastic part of the nose gear servo that has the 4 screw holes shattered. I ordered a new servo but cannot for the life of me get the metal part of the servo with the post sticking out off of the gear itself. Anyone else had this problem and have a trick to get it to release? I have loosened up every hex nut there, but it seems to be stuck to the gear main post.
Thanx in advance!

That post has to turn freely because it's a steering component. Since the plastic part with the 4 holes is already cracked, you should just take out all those little screws in the housing and pull the 2 halves apart. Then the metal trunion (the metal part with the post sticking out of it) will come out completely from the housing. Once it's out, you will see the "C" clip that holds the post in and prevents it from falling out. Don't lose the "C" clip. You'll need it again to put that piece back into the new retract unit. I assume you ordered the "Type B" retract, which is actually for the main and has no post. The correct retract is "Type C" and comes with that post already installed. Not to worry too much. Type B will work but you have to recover that post from the broken unit.Originally posted by ibrewalot View PostOn my maiden I had a great flight but came in too fast and bounced the landing. There has been a bunch of inquiring into our A-10 formation light DIY Kit. As such I wanted to make a post for everyone that wants to know more about them can see the info first hand.
Our current option for purchase is the $30 DIY kit plus $7.90 shipping in the USA, this DIY kit will ONLY include 11 module lenses and the LEDs for the Formation lights (green bar lights) unless we add extra free items or additions on our side. Since this is a “do-it-yourself” kit, you will need to build your modules and wire them into your jet.
Items you will need to complete your A-10 Formation lighting modules mod are:- 22g-26g wire,
- 4-JST female connectors from a freewing rc LED light kit or red 2 pin JST from local rc stores.
- Light controller from 90mm F-15 https://www.motionrc.com/products/fr...-controller-v3
If you want to purchase this kit, I am currently accept paypal transactions.
You can transfer payment by sending money to Solt4923crew@hotmail.com. Once I receive payment I will add you to the current list for shipment and send tracking info once shipped.
