I am lucky enough to own several Freewing EDF jets, including a V1 Avanti (Red/black/white version), which has well over 100 flights on. Mostly I fly with quality 6000mAh packs.
Once I learned how to slow the aircraft down properly for landing (it is a great Tutor), it quickly became my favourite EDF.
I would love the V2 Avanti, but a question to those that know, is the upgrade in performance & handling worth the outlay over the V1?
It's a shame that Freewing couldn't update the Wing fixing to be screw-less, as they have done recent designs.

My current Avanti is a V1 in yellow with the 2150 fan and reversing ESC on a lightweight 5300 HV battery. When they first came out I put a 8S jetfan in it. The 2150 is just about as good as that 8S and lighter weight. I don't think there is any performance difference in the airframe itself.
