Glad to hear the marauder flying well after all your troubles. Sometimes its like they have a curse. This wonderfull aircraft catches your eye.You try to do all the right things building it, put time time in on the controls,checking and re-checking. Carfully place the decals,getting the outside looking good..checking the balance till all seems well. You finally get her in the air and all it wants to do is crash. Yup....sounds just like the ex-wife....but you can fix an airplane.

rifleman...was the dx8 the gen2? Was there any issues showing up during range testing. Using HK orange rx? I recently lost my strega in a spectacular vertical crash due to a loss of radio control. Post crash the HK orange rx seemed ok, but it was one of the oldest i have(3-4years). I have had a few very random moments this last season with motors cutting out for a split second.

My dx8 is a first gen. And it happened with 3 different rx. Two lemon and a true spektrum ar8000dsmx. All lost comms around 200M. Range tests seem ok, so still not sure what happened. Use to never have any problems. I'll send it in when the money's rebound and hopefully get good answers. So far the new radio works well along with the orange tx module for dsmx. I haven't ventured too far, but I've been well past the 200m Mark without problems, so with one of the planes that dropped from radio failure. No problems at all with the new system.

Rodger that rifleman..there is some information about the gen 1 internal flexable antenna breaking where it pivots.

Yes sir, the radio was the cause of my flight issues. And last Friday I just picked up my truck with a remanufactured engine. So far so good. Except for the next couple days the weather is suppose to be the crud. But of the things that can be controlled all is well

That makes me wonder about that. Very possible. Especially how it happened consistently

I am trying to figure out getting the landing light to activate with the gear operation. I have tried a reversing circuit as suggested by OV10 but it wouldn't work anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

MB.......What did you do regarding the electrical connections??
I suspect you don't have it done correctly but without details it would be like shooting at bats in the dark. LOL

Nice. Is this a scale paint scheme with the RAF markings over silver?

I over painted my B26 in RAF Mediterainian/Desert camo.
There is a lack of info about RAF B26 colours, and I don't know if they used the aluminium finish.

Thanks Mark. Since the pictures were taken I have painted the u/cart legs RAF internal grey-green, with shiney metal for the telescopic bits, and dirty aluminium for the wheel hubs.
Win top roundels are still to be added. Right or wrong, the invasion stripes are staying, for better visibility. Like Scamps scheme, they are our models, we like 'em.

Hi UK ARTHUR, welcome to the Squawk!!
I agree, sometimes, it's cool to reproduce a paint scheme exactly, while other times, it's all about what you want. I did the same on Old Crow, even though Bud was flying a B model during D Day, I applied invasion stripes just 'cause....Made her easier to spot in the air as well!!
The new FlightLine 1600 mm Spitfire is done up as AI-A, Skipper's (Robert Shaw's) from the movie, The Battle of Britain.
Now I just have to figure out how to get a red headed pilot with a white roll neck sweater!

Thanks for the welcome Grossman.
Could you try faking the sweater using thin material, dyed if necessary. Maybe fingers from an old glove could be used, a short section for the neck, and two or more sections side by side for the body? Or were you joking? Lol.
The two supplied pilots are twice the scale size, and look to me like a pair of lady scooter riders!
