  • Because the drive wants >20000. rpm in an outrunner in a 600-650 size I'm actually going to look more closely at the xnova lightning series. Their 24 slot 8 pole winding factor is really one and they record and share enough data to regress an efficiency line based on voltage. You could use predictive model curves like this to compare the motors through the voltage ranges not just at one point. You can see the broadness of the efficiency or lack thereof. This topology and wave winding is capable of producing a waveform as harmonically as any inrunner.

    • Life is so full circle. Now im being redirected back to something from the past. adamd11pl TMCR experiment and his DD contra dual hallbach drive.

TMCR Halbach experiment - RC Groups\

As you can see we were there right with him in discussion of his machines development We can see Bayern was there as well.😁

Adam's 4th generation is available. You pay him 1450.00 for it.. You see he doesnt need to build an autoclave Ralph as you can see he already has sleeves for higher rpm.. The German social media can enjoy life. You also dont need destroy dental equipment to hobble together an autoclave to produce a carbon fiber retention sleeve.... all you need is a collapsible undersized mandrel a Vaccuum and a lathe. When you press an undersized sleeve on the bell it it has preload 🙈🙉🙊

And good morning! Sorry I missed you this morning Boho1 (Powercroco). I was still in bed sleep. I woke up this morning with a link from a hobbyist to his site.. and had forgot I rubbed shoulders with Adam and his designs long ago....

That was 2019 Ralph so I guess I've been suspended 🤔from the lands of ignorance and their politics section that long.!!!

I might contact Adam to continue discussion because as you can see we were having a discussion about harmonics and in this photo none are showing not even the 2 pole so Im very curious about where he had his scope set. I see notching in the BEMF so in my mind something has to be there.in the sidebands big or small all the same. The prototype did about 88% eta. Because he has an open slot machine he can improve his pm performance alot with a hybrid winding. While its not a sneeze, if a motor can go from 88% to say 92% that's actually alot more in performance you could expect.

And just like that your viewing of even more innovative contra drive concepts cannot be shared with you Ralph. The boys want to me to enter into a NDA to possibly work with them on further contra and power development. What can I say Ralph? People in higher places don't want me to show you what they show me.

...... So I guess ill sign it 😁because even though I love to share the latest tech with you and your friends in Germany maybe these guys are serious enough to go in with me and invest in the necessary manufacturing equipment to manufacture the tech we all want to talk about . And some that we have not. Like I told you and Chris the flussperren HK core is a 1700 dollar prototypic investment with Polaris laser cutting. This means to me at some point I need my own EDM in house and I still cant stack to their quality. They also do bonded cores, no welds no dimple tabs, with c5 ceramic insulation. Those stacks cost! But for me I don't see the point to have a laser house send me loose laminations if they offer a c5 bonding service for the stack so its all a crapshoot on quality if you try to diy everything. If you care about quality the next thing you'd seek yourself is a bonding process as good as theirs. ALL of that cost money. You cant talk about high efficiency or quality if you are not willing to invest in the tooling and manufacturing equipment or process you need to do the job right. These guys seem serious minded about it all and are definitely genius enough to help me get them where they want to go. The NDA will be fine. Ill still show you the things ive wanted to develop. Working with them and others professionally may give me the latitude to bring forth some of the automated manufacture sooner. Without the automation you can only produce a few quality pieces on manual equipment. It also require some precision manual machining. Thats beautiful but it does not facilitate popping out concepts. I have a 1000 square feet here on an 18 inch monolithic slab so I have the floor. What I want to do I add a 10 to 20 HP RPC so I can have 3 phase power available. Then of course I want the house off the grid. Money is money. I don't own Ferraris. I drive Volvos and Chevys.🤣
But still it looks like things are coming along over here in the west where a star still shines...

                            The real 1BOHO

                            @ Ralph
Since the silicon steel rotors in flux switching machines can rotate much faster without the PM and geared drive concepts want fast external rotors. You can be sure ill see if they have any interest in the flux switching machine. . Also Ralph...The latest halbach arrays have levitating rotors so I know just off drag their efficiency must be incredible..

My plan is to encourage them do exactly as Adam has done and develop not just a motor but a full power system that's state of the art for their contra system. I truly have so much more to offer than a wind Ralph. Seems to me this is the elevated level of motor tuning they are seeking in their WC winning 2m pattern planes.

Yes Ralph they've already done that and still want more....
Hopefully this will be the finish of some of my "POCBOY" developmental projects you & Christian have been on standby for for years...

But still Ralph no matter what you think on your German Social media. You cant lie... Christian Lucas is still the best of you. You see he showed Adam immediately where to place the Fluss Perren correctly. Just that would improve Adams great machine. You have to remember the FEMM isnt the real representative of the flux barrier in this location because Chris just impose the flussperren photo on top of the previous femm shot. to show where it should be placed in the stator. You also know I have his 124mm sheet with full rights with the flussperren teardrops already in the appropriate locations. The design is very similar to the Lehner 70 series Torqstar outrunner.

                                        Hi Ralph you still here?

                                        WOW but n e way

I see you and Christian helping the hobbyist on GSM with the Plettenberg rotor but clearly you all don't know even new magnets are inconsistent in weight and strength. If you really want to rebuild the rotor the first thing you need to do is select the best magnets out of your lot.... matching the weight will need less balancing later. If the field strength varies your pseudo sinus wave will be inconsistent as well. 😀 However im still reading the experts help but Lehner has had issue of slipping shafts in the past but the garden dwarf in Bayern never mentions that. Everything they do in process is perfect let him tell it.

BTW The 90000 rpm motors at castle use a stainless steel sleeve not a CF wrap. U turn the sleeve slightly undersize and press it on.

U have a lathe Ralph so look at Inconel or a non magnetic stainless for a retention material

                                        Regards
