MRC for the FW A-6. He's getting them cheaper than your back yard dirt. LOL

            • A-10 Arrived today:)
Spinners pre painted. I wonder why some are and some not.

              • I thought it was a bit strange that the spinners were NOT painted. It's about time. It's a small detail, but something that makes a visual impact.

                    • Been out several times with this carry stand.
Works well for transport and field assembly.
On this one I have to remove a couple of the ordinance for the wings to fit properly.
I am building another for my second A-10 and will build it so wings will fit without any ordinace removal.

                      • Wow, pictures are tough to figure out in this forum (that last one took me at least 5 tries to get right)...

Anyhow, I've noted that others have mentioned that their sidewinders showed up with fins all bent (like mine below). Anyone figure out a good way to straighten them out?

                        • Anyone mounted a gyro (like an Eagle Tree Guardian) in one of these yet? If so, do you have a picture of the area where you mounted it?

No gyro in this one for me as they pretty much fly themselves based on other A-10'S I have flown.

                            • One vertical stab being worked on. Callie Graphics minus the formation strip. Work in progress.

Looks great. Nice touch. If I had the time I wouldn't mind doing the same thing.

Mine look the same. I might try using my heating iron.

                                    • Gents,

I am going to be out of town for 12 days starting Sunday, so if you want ordnance decals within the next week, get your orders in now! Otherwise, they won't go out until after July 14th.

I used the concept of curling ribbon, but I would use a wooden or plastic straight edge so as not to damage the paint or fin. Heat might make it worse. ??
