Kurtzz, good to hear your maiden went well...but MAN, that grass you're standing on looks AWESOME! Is that real grass, or turf? That would be a gem to land on!

Thanks, its real grass about 450' X 175' or so, just an old farm field we have been flying off of since the mid/late 60's or so. About once or twice a year we spray for weeds, Mother Nature provides the water, we mow it weekly. Late spring to early summer it's usually in great shape. Our club, Mid Arkansas Radio Control Society, Inc. has been blessed with an awesome site for a long time.

HELP!!! I have no idea wyt I can't get the ESC's to respond to the bind when using my AR9350 rx. Any ideas? Check out the video please. I've lowered the throttle trim all the way down. I've reversed the throttle to see if that was it. Nothing seems to work.

it says that the bind is complete, yet the plane doesn't respond.

It it has to be something I haven't thought of. My AR6210 binds just fine, but not the AR9350. Horizon says it has to be something in the ESC settings that aren't working with the rx.

Yes, I know I could just use the 6 channel rx, but that doesn't solve my issue with this rx. I'd like to add sound as well as have the option to do other things.

I see you still have the bond plug still in the Rx after you have binded.. That could be your issue.. Remove after bind otherwise Tx won't respond..

I've never done any painting on planes before, but I'd like to do something with this one too. Thanks for posting your masking pic. Gives me an idea of what it should like. Wish me luck, whenever I get bold enough to try it on this one. I'm excited but nervous, at the same time! :Cool::Scared:

Yeah it's more time-consuming than anything else. Especially multi-colored camo liveries. Got the white done now it's on to detail work (where the rattle can missed, or overspray, etc), and hitting it with mini wax and finally Callie's final touches! :)

Finally got her finished. Now it's waiting for Callie's magic touch to finish her off. Fun to paint in 90+ degrees...Paint dries in 5 minutes! Must reward myself with dusk sortie. :)

Today at my flying clubs 13 annual event called Airplanes of the World we had three of the first run A-10s out there. We had sunshine but 16-25 mph winds but we did get one flight with all three up at the same time. I was trying to eat my burger as I MC this event but the squadron called. The birds handled the wind very well. Two of us had rough landing mine was fine. I did notice the drag on the plan as I had the ordinance on the plan. Not sure I like drag as I enjoyed it without.

Overall a a good day for hawgs.

Actually Dewey it did pull up paint in some spots. I was bummed because it forced me to go get paint matching grey which turned out to not be a perfect match, so I need to take the quart back to have them get it closer...Just a shade too light.

But I digress...It is a fantastic tape for clean, clean, crisp lines, but it did pull up paint in some spots. Not a lot, but here and there. Enough to aggravate the crap out of me.

The yellow Frog tape is lower tac than the green. Works great. I have had very few issues with it.

Maiden was awesome, what a great flying plane. All settings per the manual, new Admiral 5000 batteries placed at location Lon posted on page 216 post 4311 (thanks Lon). 10 mph winds right down the stripe.

Flew the FMS A-10 today as I'm still working on the FW. So here is a video of todays flight. The nose gear popped out on landing even though it was a small bounce a greased in landing. Chinese glue still tacky. 7th flight. Looking at the video the nose gear did seem quite loose.
