[QUOTE=Alpha.MotionRC;n70031 Just the other day I had to escort out someone posing as a "delivery courier" who snuck through security and was trying to photograph areas of our production line and adjacent offices. Good thing we caught him before he reached the next room. It seems...strange... to me, but I've accepted this is the environment we're in. I don't mind being followed.
I sent Pilot Ryan a production Avanti today, so stay tuned for our official Flight Review video and Assembly video!

It would be interesting to find out who the "delivery guy" was working for.
Looking forward to seeing Pilot Ryan's vids. Always entertaining and insightful. Just waiting for the "it shipped" e-mail.Comment

Not sure it's against the forum rules to modify any pictures, but it's just for visual reference to what the canopy would look like in various colors. I know I'll be painting mine before I install it, so I've tried many colors in the photo program to see what I'd like best. Here are just four of the colors I tried. I prefer the blacked out canopy, as well as the blue. However, I'll be adding a little visual pop to those once I get around to painting it.

All I'm doing with mine is to paint some details in the cockpit, no pilot, put an extra coat or two of smoke tint to the inside of the canopy, and paint the servos to blend in. Then it's all about the flyin'!Comment

Am just wondering is there any elevator to flap mixing going on with this plane ? I have 2 of the 70mm Yak-130 which didn't need any mixing. Been trying to make up my mine to go with the Avanti or the Stinger 90 like both. My uncle sam was good to me
this year so maybe I'll go for both.Comment

Grats on the avanti and welcome to the squawk mate. If the yanks can understand my English, they'll have no worries with yours... ;)
thanks for the canopy pics tcat. I'm hoping to do the blue. I think alpha said his was from the inside, but I'm not sure how he got it so bright with the smoked canooy? Or was the pre production one clear? I might need some tips from you guys who are experienced at painting models. To date I've just used a brush when I've painted something.Comment
