Am rethinking some cooling options . canopy anti gatoring
but fuse is next. The top of 2 wings and power module used one can...top and bottom
Wing underside going black for visibility and and anti gator combat....lol.
Well unless I fly inverted in death valley....hehe.
Funny how the camera makes one cell and decal look bigger than the other. Was a chunk of foam missing....just went with it. Why snivel
This jets going to be like a cartoon....lol

Sorry about the sentence structure...using phone.

This is all I have so far. Its worth pulling the Nacells apart before spraying. M.O. is just wiping surface with gas station paper towels and denatured. No lint from those kind. I soak the cans in very warm water for ten min in a bowl. Two coats does it and stuck with a solid not metallic for ease of touch up.
Both black and purple really pop with the yellow.
Tiger meet scheme is also doable.

Interesting. One of my club members is looking at doing a civilian "sport" version too. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.

Was covered a bit ago. The solution was to soak...spray...wait..then gently lift with razor blade under the edge while spraying on more solution.
Having a water soluble base on yours may help or hinder. Its going to cloud but should dry clear again. The word " Gently " was used many times in the modelers procedure....lol was elated that it worked out. Its in the HS main thread after we started building them if you need to find such posts.
If it lifts the color base coat....touch up required.

    Help, help
How to remove a stick on decal, from a foam painted airplane without lifting the paint ?
The surface is covered with MinWax hard finish over the foam , then Primer, then Paint.
    Decal is in wrong location

I use the Beacon foam filler from Motion. Great stuff. Goes on smooth and sands easily, plus it sticks well.

What do you use for foam filler? I was going to use lite weight spackling, but maybe that's not a good idea...
    Thanks

Yaaa, your right about that. I was moving too fast and not paying enough attention.
Well, there you go, this one will not be entered into any scale contest. I already painted the plane.
Am I going back to fix that ....let me sleep on that a couple of nights.

Hey, a little foam filler would take care of that.

At this time its a moot point. I have already put the 2 sections together. I didn't call or complain about it simple due to the fact its foam and sometimes things just happens. My son has a fly-in this weekend and I needed to get the plane ready and didn't have the time to wait for a decision on if it was my fault the item was damaged or it was the shipper or just a issue with the part. As I rarely disclose where I get the planes my son flies there will be no negative toward who it was purchased. I do realize that motion is the only one that sells the plane but I will not give negative press to anyone. The decision to keep and use the part was mine. I will remove the posts and the pictures. Thank you all for your input on the modification and pictures.

I agree with OV-10, Ronnie, please call the Customer Service team at 224-633-9090 or better yet submit a Service Ticket online and attach pictures (they'll need to receive pictures in that system to properly document and authorize the warranty procedure for replacement or partial credit). That department's office hours just began a few minutes ago. They'll be more than happy to get you sorted out!

This is a good time to remind everyone that for all product issues, especially on new/recent releases, please always contact our Customer Service team before anything else. That team tracks thousands of products in our system, and forums like this one aren't always monitored every day by those team members. We all value the data you provide to help us continually track, evaluate, respond, and improve!

    Thanks, everyone!
