There's no real excuse for lack of progression or striving for better efficiency..... so please stop running for that go to back door escape plan for your motors Ralph.

More efficient model electric motors are always more fun for any hobbyist because it either runs faster , more powerfully, or longer and more quietly on the battery.

You can fun fly just fine without ever rewinding the COTS motors...

Its bs because as soon as a "fun flyer" found higher efficiency ie, a faster speed or longer flight times in his model, he would come to a forum and brag to everyone about it.

Es ist schade, dass nach 15 Jahren keines dieser „Spaßflugzeuge“ auch nur mit einer 1%igen Effizienzsteigerung seines Power-Croco-Motors rechnen kann. Diese Piloten sind ein Beispiel für solche Spaßflugzeuge, die Ralph nicht mehr wert sind als ein 5-Dollar-NMB-Lager und die Sicherung der Kabel mit einer UHU-Wärmeleitfähigkeit von 0,26 W/mK. Keines wird dieses Jahr deutlich schneller fliegen.

Ralphs Problem ist, dass er die Werkzeuge nicht richtig benutzt und nicht weiß, wo er suchen soll. Beim Vergrößern wird der 1%-Unterschied deutlicher. Ralphs Motor leistet keine 20 kW, da er vor 400 Ampere die Synchronisation mit dem YGE 320 verliert. Zeichnen Sie zum Spaß eine Vertikale bei x = 476 Ampere, und Sie werden sehen, wo der größte Teil der zusätzlichen Effizienz liegt. Am Knie ist sie deutlich spürbar. Ralph's problem is that he doesn't use the tools properly and doesn't know where to look. When zoomed in, the 1% difference in efficiency becomes more obvious. Ralph's motor doesn't produce 20 kW because it loses sync with the YGE 320 before 400 amps. For fun, draw a vertical at x = 476 amps and you'll see where most of the extra efficiency is. It's quite noticeable at the knee. Ralph finds it remarkable that Helmut rates this motor at 78%. Ralph says his pilots get along fine with it, but that's 3500 watts wasted at peak load. That much waste can't be possible. It generates catastrophic heat, ask Marcus Koch.

You can disregard everything right of the vertical line. The motor works in this small region left of 476 amperes. 76 amperes left of it is where the real line is.

Well why would you expect to see part load effects at full load in the first place... Secondly the 10 pole HK is a BLDC machine so it runs best with the YGE when the YGE is running in BLDC mode ( 6 step at wot).

Your speed line theory in itself mean nothing then because every plot generated in Holles calculator and Maxons will fall below the speed line the same way. DC isn't the most important part of a motor that is using ac to run.

You see the efficiency goes up a lower timing lowers the Io but the dc resistance stays the same. In a hybrid the convention wye has a lower DC and still loses in efficiency and torque output.

These things you discover as a hobbyist already have academic explanation if you'd learn to accept the science versus thinking 1 dead EE Trumps it all you would be alot further ahead in your understanding which is very basic and based on 1 sole paper it appears.

This was never true as the APD can do 35kW but anyway then here is the latest "disclaimer"...

So he reported 22kW in Feb of 2022 since then after remote discussion and calculation the 5050 disclaimer retracts it all the way to 12kW and the efficiency is 81% by December 2024

The conventionally wound pyro 1000 ( A lighter 5040) on 18s lipo can do 19kW. The wing loading is thus 95 g/dm², should make it possible to fly 650kmh horizontally even without a "bubble".

The pyro 1000 can do 300 amps for 30 seconds at higher efficiency than a scorpion. Ask Thomas...

Du hast Recht. Solange sie zufrieden sind, ist das alles wichtig. Aber bitte nutze das Foto nicht, um zu suggerieren, diese acht Piloten hätten die beste Wahl für einen Speed-Motor getroffen. Das ist eindeutig nicht der Fall

Ich liebe diese einfühlsame Signatur. So kann jeder in seinen eigenen Worten verstehen, warum er so denkt. Es liegt daran, dass ich seinen Befehlen nicht gehorche, und er braucht mehr als ein Foto, um mich zu überzeugen. Wie man sieht, ist er verschwunden, ohne Halbachs Rmp zu melden. Mit einem 7x10 kommt weder aus seinem Mund noch aus seiner Drehmomenthalterung etwas heraus.

So "no" there is no data of improvement offered. . Not a surprise. Its another wundermotor..

The pilots already have the results of the P1000.through the measuring sticks.......


Data shows that even wound the old way like yours. Its lighter and makes more power with better efficiency.
