Pause....
I was trying to knock the grass out and the 17.5 briggs & stratton starter motor struggled so i decided to take a look inside. It appears the corrosion on the armature got so fat it filled the gap and was dragging on the pm. One pm was also no longer glued to the can so I'm sure it was sticking to the armature and dragging as well. You can see the wear marks on the pm. First I removed most of the corrosion from the hammers then washed off all the brush dust etc. Then I sprayed the entire thing with wd 40 to dry the water down in the windings. I also lightly went over the commutator with scotch Brite. The brushes are in good condition, so now all i need to do is glue the pm back together, oil the bushings and reassemble the girl and she should be good.
Thanks for you time and patience,
Hubert

I actually cleaned the pm and land before doing anything. But as you see I sprayed the activator on the backside of the pm and prepare to set it in place. If I'm not mistaken this is set in 3 min. let me check for ya.ll boys.... no matter once the magnet is glued back in place Ill bake the can for bout 30 min at 180F.

Lets put it back together and get this grass knocked out while they camp in the shadows.... By the time im done and test the 7X10 they still will not have accomplished a thing...
Keep Hatin'

I don't plan to post anything about motors today I just want you to see how they are dragging the poor pilots in Germany for a wind.
PLANET-HOBBY JOKER 4250-6 V3 680 KV BRUSHLESS MOTOR - buy now - at Modellbau Lindinger
The joker 4250 is 64.00 usd. . The German wants 223. dollars and 31 cent to wind the 64 dollar motor.
Would you do it? Just a winding , No bearings, no potting etc on. a 28 mm stator. There's no way I'll do it. for "thin" China Iron.
Enjoy your day
I wont waste my time listing all the things we provide for only a fraction more penny on real machines. I also serve truth not fallacy.
Thanks for your time and patience,
Hubert

I'm not giving the German 287 dollars for his handy work on a 64 dollar motor because He rearranged the copper in an Ortho cyclic lay on the iron in an AC noisy parallel delta with zero extras.
You crazy....
He can stamp his German flag hand winding on the China iron but that's the only thing authentic about it. If you claim it .... You cant be "America first" if you do it.

LOL!

There's also tremendous value in DIY for a 64 dollar motor.. The original "dream" you were sold on the forums from the cd Romulan Motorfuher in Bayern..... he went straight to scorpion helped them and they profiteered it like anything else. Bruder likes AMG GT 550s & Ferraris and likes to go skiing in the Swiss Alp$....
Skorpion doesn't even supply kits any more....and you cannot rewind the Lehner's to get better result. What happened to the free energy for hobbyist dream?
