Long ago Ralph I gave your patterns for a rhombic winding. You can glue that rhombic overlapped lapped winding to a iron cylinder and build a slot less outrunner. In fact you could print non magnetic teeth that go around the iron ring to arrange the coils. Those patterns and post may be on rc groups from a ways back. The ring could be an amorphous iron spiral strip core. You dont need iron teeth at all

The windings you truly could cut from copper foil tape then insulate each phase layer with epoxy before applying the next overlapping phase.. That would be extremely compact if you take your time and plan it out. with your scalpel. You could lay it on a mylar or kaptan tube. Like for a speakers voice coil..If you insert a flux ring after that it will generate real torque. You print a to scale template on a flat piece of paper and wrap it around the tube.
