Yep!  Got out early this morning, but had to deal with the marine layer.  It is a good thing I took out planes with light.  Had a close call even then in the clouds.!  Happy flying all.

Love the first few seconds of the video when you see the augmenter lit up! Great looking plane in the Thunderbird colors.

The braided part of the red hair extension hairpiece used caused a blocked air flow in the thrust tube. I will eliminate the braided hair portion or cut foam inside the tube to install the braided portion recessed inside the tube to permit more air flow. I may also try the more commonly used fiberglass strands next time although I love the bright red color the hair extension piece produced. Work in progress. Stay tuned.

The red hairs were replaced with orange and blond hairs for less red color and a brighter flame. Because the LED light ring is red I think there will always be a red color unless I change it out, which I'm not going to do. Hairs were also styled; clipped to produce a narrower flame. I modified the installation process also for less thrust blockage. Next up: Flight Test Number two.

Still diminished thrust this test but not as bad. Sorry about the bad resolution; accidentally left my HD cam SD card at home. Used iPhone 6+ instead.
Does not do as well in pre-dawn light but Image stabilization is better though.

I am so impressed with that! If the diminished thrust can be somehow negated, this could be a marketable add-on!

Could you rig the AB to the throttle settings so it is not always on. Or maybe use a switch to turn it on and off? This looks great! I wonder what a dual augmentor that is lit up would look like!

Three morning flights edited together. Last one took flame piece out and added on board cam for stunts. Enjoy
