Black is a color that results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without chroma, like white and grey. But he uses the term "Enlightenment" to mean void of intelligence but he is ignorant because the age of Enlightenment can be referred back to the dark ages not Black the color so he is a real fool.
