No, that's the Freewing 90mm. I installed a Castle 130 Amp ESC and the 12 blade 4068-1835 Kv Inrunner that I fly using a SMC 8100 mah graphene battery, weight 903 gr. Gives me easy 5 minutes of flight time and since SMC's have some of the highest actual C (forget the labeled C), I get maximum thrust drawing about 121 A and 2990 watts. I always liked the "Wild Weasel" tail and was usually the only one flying it until HH came out with the 80mm F-16 with that tail, and it kinda teed me off (I like to have something no one else does). A friend I fly with has a Freewing F-16 (on 8S) and the E-Flight 80mm F-16. He loves the FW F-16 (as I do) but his E-Flight F-16 is a bit of a problem child. Probably doesn't matter, I'm sure HH will discontinue it soon, like they do everything else.

      • Video of my B-24 from a week ago. Our grass runway is now full of potholes and ant mounds, makes for an interesting take-off! Luckily I didn't find those on the landing.

The video is from the home test flight... didn't get any video at the field... just some pics.

Looks awesome, kind of looks like the one I have... So what pilots are those you have in the cockpit and where did you get them?? I didn't sell the Cobra and its more of a display at the moment, wanted to get some pilots for it but can't seem to find the right size.

                  DC,
I'm using the 10" warbird pilots. They came with green flight suits and white helmets. I painted the helmets myself... I did shorten the figures about an inch... and the flight suits were made by a friends daughter. The gear is from the soldier story army aircrew figures.

My Pitts, Bearcat One and the E Flite Spitfire.
The Pitts is on her 8th season, the Spitfire and Bearcat are on their 7th, all three have done the trip to NEFI in Muncie, I bought the Spitfire at NEFI as a matter of fact. Click image for larger version

The Pitts is done up as Dave Scotts Pitts and yes, he's flown it, the Bearcat actually crashed at NEFI and habited the junk box for a few years and the Spitty has broke her nose off and has been repaired. I removed the stock receiver as I had no luck with it and installed a Lemon gyro/receiver instead. I fly her with 3600 4s batteries and its very scale like, much better than 3s.

                              • Got out with a few yesterday including the Mig-29 and SU-30. "The Russians are Coming" as RudyD54 brought his out as well! Videos will follow at a later date. Both Mig's have the upgraded FMS 3280-2100Kv 12 blade inrunners (where do you think I got the idea from) and the SU-30 has the upgraded FMS 3060-1900Kv 12 blade inrunners, but more important, finally finished the 2 battery modification recommended by radfordc and got the first flights with them in. Should have done it sooner, the "Only way to Fly". Fits either 2 SMC 4500's or 2 SMC 5300's. How sweet it is!!!

                                  • Davegee and me were out early this morning to get some flight pics. The only way to get pics of the birds in the air.
The Silver 'Hardway' P 40 and the Freewing P51 as well as Dave's latest acquisition, the P 47.
I'll let Dave post pics of his bird:

Mine is the Freewing PJ50 (right). My buddy's is the X-Fly J65 (left). I helped him set up his J65 with a Safe Select RX. After fiddling with the Pulsar gyro, he couldn't get it work and gave it to me. I'll play with it and test it in another plane. Now he doesn't have a steering gyro while mine has the Assan. The PJ also has a Safe Select RX and flies like it's on rails. I helped my friend maiden his J65 by standing beside him and working the trims as he called it out. The J65 also flew like it was on rails. However, because the J65 weighs about 800g more than the PJ, the PJ seemed somewhat faster, while the j65 flew "heavy" and landed very heavy and fast. My friend always thought the J65 would have reverse as he's seen mine stop short with its reverse. He ran off the end of the runway every time but did only minor damage to the nose gear. In the air, you can't tell one plane from the other. Both look great. Both sound more or less the same. He may not keep his J65. Mine's a keeper for at least a few years or until I crash it.
