Yes the new + update on the as3x is SuPeR!

but... the rear gear was out of line (out of the box) the tires where running crooked.
not good for the gear when you thouch the ground. Check your rear wheels there not in line. I filed it down where the screw touches the rear gear. It was a tip from 2BRC

I have checked the servo and the ball links. They are all fine out of the system. In the attached video you can see what I'm talking about. Does anyone know the internals of the outer and inner housing? Is there an internal pin that may be broken or loose? I'm not looking forward to busting this all loose on a new unflown plane to see how it works. I am wondering if there is a known fix. I am thinking there is a broken pin or a warped outer or inner part. Customer support says these are the fix https://www.motionrc.com/products/fr...nkage-set-n329. However these don't look anything like what is on my plane unless they are internal to the mechanizm, which I can't see without taking it all apart.
Mine is the same did you ever get a response or fix from Motion RC or the forum ???

                • After 3 years of sitting in a box, I think I'll finally finish it:]. By the way, the F-16 is tiny compared to the Mig...

                  • These were the upgrades I did to the Mig's horizontal stabs. 2-ProModeler DS150CLHV servos, 1 servo reverser and a Hangar 9 4 1/4 inch titanium control rod. The ProModelers are priced competitive to the MKS and hitec servos, but in my opinion, are better. And Made here in Florida. They are powerful, quiet, smooth as silk and consistently return to neutral. No chattering searching for 0. There are others more expensive out there, but these are more than sufficient for me and these aircraft.

Nice, you will love flying it, especially with those TV units. Gotta say this is probably my favorite EDF now, great presence in the air, highly maneuverable with the TV and lands easy and smooth. Suggest you balance it at least 10-15mm aft of recommended CG for best results. She's just a big, bad sweetheart!

Without TV it will get stuck in the falling leaf high alpha, but the TV unit easily corrects that. ENJOY!!

Thanks Hugh. Done my homework and watched countless videos. I already have CG set at 15mm aft also using separate 600mah 2s lipo for BEC and 2 number CHNL 4000mah 70c G series weighing in at 610 gms each and A3 super4 gyro. I have setup the reverse thrust on a momentary switch but with any luck landing on the slight upslope of our grass field means I should not need it. Connectors have arrived now so just waiting to pick a good day

This one lands quite slow, particularly with TV induced flair just before touch down, I don't think you' ll have any problems.
your flights will be very short with 4000 std V packs and thrust robbing TV. There is a 3DP cheater grill mod out there and I got 400g more thrust per fan by doing it.
we can get SMC HV lipos in UK now from unmannedtechshop, the 5900mah HV2 is perfect in the Mig.

Thanks for the update , just waiting for the back in stock e mail from unmannedtechshop. I already have a couple of HRB 4500mah 60 to 120c lipos on the way at 630gms each so I wiill go for the 4900 smc packs at 645gms as I have gyro, rx set up in the middle with 2s bec lipo in the nose so it should not be a problem to push the front lipo back and relocate bec and 600 lipo to rear to get back to my cg mark ( 15mm aft of stock ). I am tempted to go for the smc 6700 pack for my SU35 ( same weight as my older Turnigy 5000 packs !!!!)

Yes Sir! I'm also using the SMC HiV V2 5900 in the Mig, as well as almost all over aircraft EDF's and props. Use the 8S version in 3 others, no problems with the ESC's. Flying the Mig about 20-25mm back and get over 5:00 flight time, depending on how crazy I get with the TV. Tried 2 SMC HiV 6700's but didn't get much more flight time. The extra weight offset a lot of the extra mah, so believe the 5900's are the sweet spot, at least for me.

Thanks Hugh, I will try the SMC HCL-HV2 5900 in the my FW SU35, at 100gms lighter than my normal 5000mah 6s packs I should get 4 mins. I will use the 4900 smc packs for the Mig to keep the weight down and with the 2150kv in-runners I should get 4 mins which is ok for me, besides I would prefer to avoid the HIV
