I told you man. At the time I was there it was known as the Stephen Grey Collection....and ,of coarse, the American Air Museum. See if you can catch a ride in a Tigermoth or Dragonfly. It's well worth it just for the views of the English countryside. Then stop in at the Spitfire bar on the way back to the train to London. I missed that but it should be interesting. Hope you enjoy the trip. Brad

John, A 3rd whistle! Holy Moley. I just have 1 per side. More is definitely better. Your A-10 sounds perfect. Did you use all 3 sizes and at what locations? I gots to know. And what brake setup? Best. LB

Used all three from nerf football. Having issues posting pics here. At work now but will work on pics later today. Whistle nozzles are in line with rear of esc.

Brakes are 65mm JP from Falcon Hobbies here in the USA. Used a 40 or 45mm matching front tire to keep AOA correct.

I just posted pics of brake setup yesterday on rcgroups A10 thread.

Thanks John, that is really pretty darn cool. Inline, i.e., in line front to back toward the rear of the nacelle or left to right at the rear of the esc? Will check later for your pics. Best, LB

LB, viewed from rear of nacelles, whistles are approximately at 12, 4 and 8 o’clock and located at rear of esc. Hope that makes better sense.

gee, 100 flights is a lot of time in the air with this bird, maybe one day you'll master it!! LOL (its obvious you're very comfortable flying this model - great job!)

Have you had any problem with the nose gear pin yet?

I’ve bent one nose gear pin early on when learning how not to bunny hop. Have really been surprised at how well the retracts work. Not one issue with them. Sure didn’t have that experience when flying turbines, even when flying BVM products.

I think lots of people have had this piece fall off. It's not that it isn't "durable". It's just the glue points were not done very well. Your foam insert will increase the surface area that's glued but even re-gluing the stock contact points with better glue (like epoxy or FoamTac) is sufficient. Mine was done with FoamTac and hasn't budged all season.

Quite a few have... Some have used tiny screws to secure it. I glued mine with liquid plastic model cement. The stuff like water, not the tube type. Plastiweld.

                                          But I like the foam!
