Alpha, if you get this and have the opportunity to do so, could you possibly re-post the pictures you had at one time put up of the cockpit modifications you made? I think they might have gotten lost back when the thread crashed. Do you still have them?

Still waiting on the sound system from Canada. It's been a week. The FMS A-10 is coming along to be a surprise to a local full scale A-10 pilot from his wife. Put me in charge of the build and will have his tail numbers on it including the bomb graphics on the side of the fuselage.

        Alpha:
PLEASE check and elaborate on the ASPIRE Mr RC Sound files for this aircraft. I've recently sent a PM to PMDevlin about a general lack of sound files, especially supporting these larger, popular EDFs.

How would we acquire an A-10 sound file set if it becomes available? Would you carry it? Costs?

That's why I went with the Canadian company. They have a lot of sound files to download. It's also a very loud system at 20watts.

This is the Shockwave2 from Canada. I have posted this before but here it is again. I have since altered the GAU8 sound file trying to increase the volume.

Can't believe there are 130 pages of this. How do I read all of this not even on the market yet and it's the longest thread ever. Nice !

Hi all - Hope I didn't miss it somewhere in the last 25 or so pages but I don't think I saw an answer to Sam's question on the nose gear door sequencer? Not mission critical, but still curious if the sequencer can be reprogrammed or swapped so the door is open when the gear is down? I also understand this might also be purposeful - similar to the early discussion about main gear doors creating drag and the fear of departing the air frame in flight or on landing.

                Thanks!

IMO. Page count does not mean useful content. I really prefer HS due to the lack of BS here along with with the great participation by Motion.

G'day boys. Just thought I'd share, today is Anzac Day. (Like your Memorial Day I guess). In case anyone's curious, Anzac stands for Australian and new Zealand army corps. Originally introduced to remember the Aussies and kiwis that died at Gallipoli, it's now our national day of rememberance for our fallen servicemen and women. If anyone knows anything about aussie and kiwi military history, little historical side note, Gallipoli was the brainchild of a certain winston churchill, and was a disaster.

Aussies (and kiwis), have been in every major conflict since the boer war. We've stood beside our mates in Britain, and our mates in the USA every time we've been needed. In fact, Australia is the only country that's stood beside the USA in every major conflict the USA has fought since ww1. (The Brits passed on Vietnam). Whilst we are a small country, we've always punched well above our weight. Thanks to everyone that serves or has served, and please take a moment to remember the fallen. lest we forget.

(Sorry off topic, just a important day to me (and most Aussies and kiwis), and being motion is very much behind supporting our vets, thought I'd share with my hobbysqawk mates). Back to the a10...
