The current version of 3DPUP for the B-24-J Nose Turret is very simple to install.

First, slice out the foam in the center to match the width of the 3DPUP part.

Glue the 3DPUP onto the foam with an appropriate glue. Do not use high temp hot glue. Slide the clear plastic parts back over the turret, and tack glue into place.

Is that normal for Pre-orders? I have ordered several items through out the years from MotionRC... Just haven't done a pre order.

The 3D parts in the turret are really outstanding, that is a great addition to the model.. I would really like to order a set of these parts. Like I said before, as long as they're produced on a quality 3D printer, because otherwise they may not look so nice. I'd like to get the cockpit set as well. Then I'll have to get an entire army of 1/17 crew figures. And 14 colors of paint to paint them all!

You know, the power to fly at 70 mph is good to have in an emergency, but cruising along at that speed in this plane is completely ridiculous.
That's a scale speed of 1200 mph, mach 2. Give me a break. What's the point of showing off a scale bomber if you're going to do that. And get the hell off my lawn!

Speaking of the cockpit, here are pictures of 3DPUP set. Note the console's detail next to the US quarter to get a sense of just how small and precise our print quality is. This isn't the garage kit stuff!

Those details look great. I have no 3D experience so please bear with him. When and how will we be able to get the files. Also does anyone know where I could farm this work out too?

It has been taken care of. Some kind of a computer glitch, just had to reorder the plane again.

Anyone planning to install Mr.RC Sound? I'm trying to understand in advance how it will fit. Was planning to install my 4.1 card plus 2 Std transducers, the amp and one bass transducer. Since the fuse halves are already glued together, wondering if I'll have to perform some surgery on the underbelly to find room near the cg for the bass transducer. Any thoughts?

That's a scale speed of 1200 mph, mach 2. Give me a break. What's the point of showing off a scale bomber if you're going to do that. And get the hell off my lawn!
I would rather have the extra power, fly half throttle and fly longer then to fly with scale power and not have it when I need it. R. :)

Same here. The way I look at it, fly it the way you want. Nobody is pointing a gun to anyone's head to make them fly it at "1200mph". You have restraint, don't you. It's only ridiculous if that's what it is to you. You show off your scale bomber your way and I'll show mine my way. My Dynam B-26 does rolls and loops and flies inverted. The crowd loves it. I love it.

Was planning to install my 4.1 card plus 2 Std transducers, the amp and one bass transducer. Since the fuse halves are already glued together, wondering if I'll have to perform some surgery on the underbelly to find room near the cg for the bass transducer. Any thoughts?
You should have plenty of room in the upper fuse, it's cavernous in there.
