    • Hello,

I have just applied all the decals on the vertical stabilizers. They do look great. I can recommend to use decal softener for a great looking finish.

Does anyone know, where the camouflage decal is going? In my attached screenshot it is marked orange.

I cannot see it from Alpha's pictures. Possibly somebody can upload a picture of his MIG-29 with the decal applied?

      Thanks for the hints.

      Br, spcboarder

And showing the Tiger decal's placement (self-explanatory... just apply it directly over the existing camo decal on the vertical stab)

Thanks LB, but "crazy smart"? Many folks use that first word to describe me, but almost no one, including my CO, ever use the second word. 🤯

        • Hello dear airplane pilots !
I would like to have your opinions (also look at the pictures), because I am preparing my MIG for its first flight in a few days !
          • To have my MIG balanced on the manufacturer's CG, I must use the second compartment at the very front of the plane. The one in the middle gives me a rear CG. For information I use spektrum 6S - 5000mah - 50C - 690g. I installed the blue box and the receiver under the rear battery plate. What do you think ?
          • Also what do you think of the rates proposed in the manual ?
          waiting your answers,
          Thanks 😁

                  • Has anyone of you replaced just the nozzles in the rotors with these new 12-blade ones?

I have a problem because they are too wide

                    • Yes, they don’t fit. Not even close.

The question is how to solve this, can anything be done about it. On motionrc they claimed it would fit... Grinding the rotor is a bad idea because it will be unbalanced. It is too wide by about 1 to 1.5 mm. Maybe grind the stator? Because the motor mount fits, only the diameter, I don't know why it has that size.

                        • Buy the shroud for the 2150 fan. Motion only sells it as a set I think.

                            • Hi All, question looking to upgrade the elevator servos on the Mig29 was thinking about AGF B26CLM ….. after something with a little more torque and more throw. Any suggestions?

I used the Promodelers. On the road but don't remember the model number. Fit perfectly and they're smooth as silk with plenty of torque. Somewhere back in this thread I listed them. I usually upgrade with hitecs, but tried these and absolutely love them.

Not home so not sure, but I think they were 24, as I used the metal servo arms that came with the Freewing upgraded elevator servos. Also used the Hangar Nine titanium rods. With the Promodelers, you also need one of their small online servo reverser for one of the servos, right side if I remember correctly. I'll be back home around the 23rd and get all the specs and info to you then. They were a drop in fit.

                                        • This is a new Freewing Redstar MiG-29 Fulcrum Twin 80mm. I am having a issue where the thrust vector module is jamming and stalling the servo. I have checked the servo and the ball links. They are all fine out of the system. In the attached video you can see what I'm talking about. Does anyone know the internals of the outer and inner housing? Is there an internal pin that may be broken or loose? I'm not looking forward to busting this all loose on a new unflown plane to see how it works. I am wondering if there is a known fix. I am thinking there is a broken pin or a warped outer or inner part. Customer support says these are the fix https://www.motionrc.com/products/fr...nkage-set-n329. However these don't look anything like what is on my plane unless they are internal to the mechanizm, which I can't see without taking it all apart.
