I know we are in a waiting mode for the container but do we know if the container is in fact en-route? Expected arrival is still late May and we have not heard from Alpha in awhile (he must be busy which is a good thing). I guess I am wondering if we will likely have these in time for the EDF Jet Jam and NEFI. Has anyone heard anything further?Comment

Stock will work just fine for me! It looked pretty awesome judging by the videos. I'm just hoping that the flight times are good.
Rich (RC Informer) used the Kinexsis 7000mah 6s batts in the FMS version in his flight video. I wrote him and asked how the battery performed, being only a 30c batt. He responded with a favorable rating of the battery, by saying that with the extra mah's it made the difference in power and flight time. I purchased a pair for another large aircraft I'm building, but I may try them in the A-10 to see how they perform.
Already purchased my batts of choice for this one. Funny though...I already have the wing bags, the batteries, the receiver, and the hangar spot for the A-10, but no A-10 yet.
Now that's anticipation!!!

I think that ever since the 70mm V2 F-16, Freewing's stock power systems have made a turn for the best.
I swapped the stock setup out for a HET/13b combo and while it was slightly improved, I ended up going back to stock since the difference just wasn't enough to make up for the added amp draw.
Freewing keeps getting better and better, but this A-10 will definitely NOT be flown stock. :)Comment

Nice bags but I wonder if they will fit the A-10 wing. These bags have a taper to 10"... what is the A-10 wing chord? As someone mentioned, 2 bags will be needed (15.00 x 2). I'm thinking on simply making mine up with some foil faced bubble wrap. They won't be as protective but it will work for me. Also, I'll have enough left over to make more bags if needed and at 16.00, I cannot argue with the price. Of course, the guys at the field will give me crap... "500.00 plane 5.00 bags".
