  • Hi friends....today did some advances on the panneling and surface details plus some wheatering... a good 3views drawing and Squadron Signal In Action series for reference... doesn´t want to a high level of detail just using lightewigh saving techs and keeping the original factory background colors with added pannels, shades and lights on some areas...will rivets also the front of fuse near canopy...love Tbolts...regards buddies. Manolo.

          • URGENT REQUEST!!

I was installing my Callie Graphics today and I noticed my horizontal stab was a little bit loose and has some play in it. Has anyone else noticed this after about 5 flights? I will probably use a few drops of Foam Safe CA in the crease on the bottom of the plane. I don't want to over tighten and strip the screw holes.

Check to make sure a wire isn't caught between it and the fuse.

              • Just wondering if anyone has established a good elevator/flap mix for both takeoff and landing positions on a DX9 radio.....aside from what was recommended in the instructions. I would love to plug those numbers in as a starting point. Brad

Wires were tied together with zip ties and clipped. This seems like a recent thing. Just more play than I remember

I also have my flight trims set so I can fine tune them for each flight mode while in the air.

I have 13 flights on mine with one hard bouncy landing, and mine is still tight with just a few mm play. Nothing to worry about on mine.

Hell yeah man... You've gotta make it out next year! I wanna see some more low blast passes and flying so I'm not the only one getting yelled at lol

Ha-ha-ha! It would be awesome to fly with you. Some of these flying fields I keep seeing in videos are just amazing, and to see them in person would be something else.

                            • I've been thinking about changing to separate aileron channels so I can add some differential for more axial rolls, and or flaperons, since we're lacking decelerons. Might make for a cool look anyway on taxi back. Brad

The field where the Jet Jam is held is incredible! They have a beautiful facility there. Alha10, what day did you make it to the JJ?

oh and for those who are using a lemon receiver..............DONT.............. pardon the pun ... but they are "lemons"

I lost my A-10 using one...

I know, who maidens with an unproven receiver?.. (that would be this guy!!)..... it cut out twice during the flight and while trying to get it back... signal was lost completely and down she went.

                                  • I have maidened at least 10 planes with Lemon RX's and not a single problem. Unproven? Maybe for some but these RX's are well proven. I won't hesitate to maiden anything using the "proper" Lemon RX's. When I say "proper", I mean NOT mixing DSM2 RX with DSMX sats or visa versa. Or relying upon only the "diversity" antenna. Even with the diversity, a sat should be used with the 2 diversity antennas at 90 degrees to each other and the sat antennas at 90 degrees to one of those.

                                    • Sorry to hear about losing your A-10 from a receiver issue. Oh that's painful. Are u going to get another one?

That field does look incredible! I hope to visit one day.

I wedged a thin piece of balsa between the two pieces on the underside. Stiff and ready to fly.

As for the graphics, my sticking job isn't great, but the graphics were fantastic. They plane is sitting at an angle so it looks off. The plane number is 617, month and year of maiden.
