Tom, I'll take full responsibility for your unhappiness in this case...now get back to work on the 'functional' cowl flaps. Best, Steve

      • Looking at the cowl with the front portion removed (where the weights and faux radial is) it seems the motor mount and shroud are incorporated into the foam as if the foam was molded around them. The area where the cowl flaps are is well aft of the motor mount. I'm not sure how to (or if ) I will proceed.

Ditto brother! OMG, can you guys stop coming up with all these fantastic modifications that I love and have to have but simply am not capable of accomplishing? Even if I tried, it would most likely turn out like and I'd spend all my time trying to keep up and never get out to fly. And God knows I need all the practice I can get just to keep from modifying anything into a lawn dart.

My motto used to be "More flying, less Buying". Well that didn't work out so well, so now I think I'll try "More flying, less Modifying".

I'll just have to live vicariously through your photos and posts, so don't let me down.

Excellent travail, monsieur. Meilleur, LB

                                    Steve,
Isn't it enough that you guys are doing incredible modifications that most of us, including me, can't come close to matching and just feel plain jealous about, now your adding the fact that you're multilingual as well. Now you're just showing off. Took 4 years of French and all I can do in it is swear. Although that's true for Spanish and English in my case.
