Seems like way back in the forum I remember several fellows talking about resetting the time delay. Even remember one saying he reduced his to 2 seconds. However at my age I have these moments where I remember something that is not correct so you may have to taked my question with a grain of salt.

    • What rates are you guys using? Book low rates?

Book high rates just seems to be....ALOT.

My high Elevator is 65%. Been playing around with this one the most.

      • I'm actually using book high rates on mine running through the A3L gyro. They are a bit much with gyro off but comfortable with it activated.

        • Book high rates or higher and also add full span ailerons, tailerons, elevator to flap mix and thrust vectoring! I like a lot of maneuverability.

Nope, nope and nope. I like smooth and scale for these scale jets...But that's just me. Knock yourself silly with the :Silly: flight aerobatics. LOL

              • We all have our preferences. Having those throws and the thrust vectoring I can also "toss it around" at a very slow speed. The F-22 has a very wide flight envelope.

Thank you for thinking I could do all that buttt I’m not there yet haha. I did sweet your vectoring and Steve/George plane. One day..one day

The nopes have it by an aileron.:)And seconded by an elevator!LOLI've seen the real thing do some incredible maneuvers but never saw a snap roll or rolling circle.

                        • With all of my Freewing V1 and V2 Super Hornets I removed the thrust vectoring. Just isn't my bag. I can see how it is a thrill for some but I am all about flying these jets like you would see the 1:1 fly for the most part. But to each their own and part of what makes this hobby so enjoyable!

It makes me curious if gluing the vertical stabs into the fuselage (and still use the screws of course) would allow less flex of those tall and massive vertical surfaces. Around the 55 second to 1:05 minute mark in the video shows the flex well. It is likely aerodynamic factors causing the yaw most, but it's not helping that the vertical stabilizer bases are moving as that could have potential to alter the severity of the yaw action.
From an aerodynamic standpoint, no one pointed out that the camera up front may be creating turbulent airflow causing this... just my thoughts tho.

                                      • Took my F-16 up in Switching winds gusting up to 22mph. I haven't really flow in wind that high, it would stop and then crank up to about 12-15 then kick up to 22 (highest recorded). Only way to learn flying in wind is to do it. F-22 went up next and I was nervous. Flight was great, few times when banking the wind would catch the tip of the wing and try to push it to a higher bank angle. Landing first I had to abort, came in to fast....rolled on power and came up. Bleed speed sooner and made my descent. As I'm coming down, wind kicks up and is changing speeds. She landed on all three gears at the same time. As my luck would have it right wheel hit a small bump and nose cone came off. I never put the wood piece in there. I was proud of it, even if I had to walk out to get my nose cone. Haha. Most guys weren't flying unless it's a big 100" wingspan.
