That will just give me time to put the 90 mm F-104 that will be delivered tomorrow together first!

Looking like the Hawg and the Avanti stash must be on the same ship.

That only works with Joe Malinchak's 4.5" wingspan A-10 with two 10 mm fans!

Before I go out and buy a bunch of Nerf toys, I'd like to know if those whistles really work. Years ago I mounted some of the football whistles on the wing of a SIG Fazer - (a 40-size nitro-powered fun-fly plane that I still fly) and found that at higher speeds, the whistle simply stops working. They only work when the plane is flying slowly, like when I am dead-stick. And that's cool, but its a shame that they cut out at high speed.

So I have this strong suspicion that when mounted inside the nacelles of the A10, the whistles will only work when the fans are idling or while taxiing. A continuous whine during flight would be perfect... but will they work? Can we get a little more info about this?
            Marc flies FW & FL: AL37, MiG-29, T45,F4, A4, A10, F104 70 and 90, P38, Dauntless SBD, Corsair, B17, B24, B26 & P61, Lipp.P19, ME262, Komets, Vampire, SeaVixen, FMS Tigercat, FOX Glider & Radian XL.

Here is a quick pic. It's covered in that shiney plastic stuff, the wheels and cowl are just a bit off scale. But for less than 1/2 the price of the FW A-10, It's got a 110" wingspan, 84" length, and a flying weight around 32lbs. I couldn't pass it up. Don't want to hijack the thread from the soon to be ours A-10, so when I get ready to do the "scaled up refurb" I'll start a thread for it.
