What more can you say about MotionRC? It gave me chills watching the video and how MotionRC honored Kelly. It is always awesome when our veterans are honored. Kelly, it is an honor to have a real Hawg driver among us! There are two of us in my club patiently awaiting the arrival of our Hawgs!

Cool color scheme. I take it the General's plane will be painted this way not the whole squadron?Originally posted by ColtPilot View PostOk guys, here is the latest color scheme coming out of the Michigan's 107th FS for the 100th Anniversary or Centennial of Selfridge ANG Base. The full size B1RD will be painted this way and so will my FW when it gets here.

That scheme looks awsome. If Callie will make it I think I would order it. Are the upper surfaces OD or darker gray?Originally posted by ColtPilot View Post
I am sure you are correct in that statement. Any other takers for this scheme?
Motion RC, great move for Kelly. That's what it's about Vets and hobbyists for Vets and hobbyists.

Olive drab, but looks much better than previous schemes I have seen. Upper skin OD, belly is grey. My phone won't do a docx file so I had to do a screen shot.Originally posted by Twowingtj View Post

Job well done. As a Veteran, that was a great gesture. I am doing the same here in Michigan, but the pilot doesn't know it yet. He does fly RC also and just made Captain.Originally posted by RCjetdude View Post
I was priveledged to witness this today. MRC gave Kelly (legman01) the A-10 as a thank you for his service as a former hawg driver and support. He then flew it in formation with Rich and the FMS A-10. It was a beautiful sight. I took one of my freshly painted wings and got Kelly's autograph on it. It was really great meeting fellow Squawkers and getting to see both A-10's fly for the first time. Kelly was very appreciative and said he was nervous but did a spectacular job of flying. It was an all around awesome day at the Nall. The only problem was that my phone battery decided to die on me so I couldn't get any pictures.
