Am a member of Indy South RC Club. I thought about taking the A-10 out to the Morristown club, but am not a member there and will be nervous enough flying it on my home field let alone a new field, new plane, and new guys around me.

Yes it is but I used 4 colors rather than 3 and changed it a bit

Plus 1. That looks awesome mike, great job mate.

I was was worried about the sharksmouth too xtraflyer, but follow the steps outlined in the thread and she'll be right. My decal setting solution starting eating the paint, so I just used water, but was able to move it around no worries till I was happy with it. Good luck.

            Hi TiredIron:
Isn't reversing the gear essentially just locking them down, as it is unlikely that they will spring forward on a landing. I have had several airplanes over the years that landed best with no shock absorbing/etc except the rubber in the tires. My question is this: on your landings, are the main gear units really collapsing forward if the landing isn't greased - or is there just no give and they are essentially locked down?

I think this should be put into the manual. 3views helped a bunch though.
              This should help.

If you come in with plenty of alpha it does compress on initial touch down but once it's rolling it's locked...I've got over a dozen flights on the A-10 since reversing the mains with zero bouncing.

Can we use CA on this foam? I know it comes with a rubber cement type of glue.

Managed to get in a couple of early morning flights on mine this morning. Mostly testing the Runcam II that I bought from Amazon. (Of course it showed up on Motion's website about the time mine was delivered from Amazon)
Using the "G Sensor" setting is not such a great idea as it got a little confused on which way was up a couple of times. I think the video quality is better than the Mobius and with it set to narrow FOV it doesn't bend the horizon like the GoPro and Mobius.
It's a little long since it was two flights put together but gives a good idea of what the facility looks like at the SRQ Squadron where I fly.

                              Hey Thomas,
I sent you a PM I think. I could not figure out how to reply from your message. Anyway the decals are in the mailbox, and will go out tomorrow.
From Elida Ohio to Indianapolis should only be a couple days, by Wednesday for sure I would think...
No payment necessary, just one RC pilot helping out another.
                              Enjoy your A-10...

On a side note, I've been noticing different pictures of the snake nose art where the center split decal isn't used, but I'm thinking it's likely because it's so amazingly easy to overlook it. I did myself after installing it, and as I was installing other decals, I noticed the decal sheet has a left over piece of the same color, but just a line. That's what it's likely for, so just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone wants to add that . After adding the split, it does look more complete. However, this is STILL an assumption that it's used for that purpose, as I don't actually see any instructions saying to do so, but it's the same gray color and can't see anywhere else it would go. See if you think the same or can find another spot. The line on the decal sheet is placed next a completely different nose art piece, so there's a chance it could go to that, but doesn't seem like it would in any way I can think of.

Here is a picture of the piece on the decal sheet that is installed vertically on the Blacksnakes nose art in the center connecting both the horizontal pieces.

Snuck my maiden flight in today. I don't think I had the elevator in the right spot since it needed what seemed as a ton of up trim. I have my 5200mah set back but not all the way on the battery trays. I may also add a little Expo to the ailerons as they were a bit twitchy for my liking. It could've also been my nerves during the maiden.
I should've gone around during my landing, cuz it rolled into the rougher grass area on roll out.
It looks totally bad ass in the air though, very scale looking!
Now just to get my nerves up to add the nose art!;-)
