OV-10, I didn't realize I came across as "judging". Sorry if I offended any LEMON users out there. May give LEMON a shot one day...in a plane I won't mind taking a chance with. (Not a judgment, just cautious)
I didn't find you as "judging" and my comment of judgement was not with regard "of others" but rather "your" judgement of value.
Just because it is pricy and has the Spektrum name doesn't mean it is a "sound" value.
There are a lot of testimonials out there about several Spektrum Rx issues. One that changed my attitude was the AR8000 after several losses because of that $150 POS.
Spektrum Tx are excellent and reasonably priced but the Rx not so much.
Still think you should make the trip to NEFI. LOL
Where is a good place to get these Lemon rx's? I'd like to join the party. :)
OV-10 and I get ours here. All of the ones I use are the DSMX receivers. I've never used any of the "stabilized" ones, so can't add anything on those. I like the diversity receivers with a diversity sat receiver. That gives 4 switchable antenae. Just started using the 7 chan diversity with telemetry on the Avanti S and like the ability to monitor flight pack temp and voltage. It can also give you a flight log of the monitored parameters. This aspect is still new to me, so still learning.
I thought for sure you'd be flyin the paint off the Avanti today and not be on the Squawk. I'm busy getting Warbirds Hangar/Bunkhouse ready for it's maiden trip to NEFI
The Santa in the brown uniform, must have heard how patiently I've been waiting. Now if I can convince my boss that I have a stomach virus , So I can go home and unwrap it!

Man, OV, I have turned over every rock of possible opportunities, and NEFI just isn't in the cards for me again this year. I really wanted to meet everyone and put faces with names. Also wanted to take a personal close-up look at RC Jet Dude's A-10.
I'd still like to try a "FaceTime" call from the field that RC Informer flies from.
I guess everyone has their own Rx experiences. I've never experienced issues with any of my Spektrum receivers. Now transmitters, that a different story. I was part of the whole DX9 "RF module" failure time period. I had it replaced twice, and finally they replaced the entire transmitter. Problem solved!

Congrats Clearblue! You look pretty ill to me my friend. You should take the rest of the day off! :Sick2:

I always love seeing big brown Freewing boxes when they arrive at my house.
Mine got here at 4 pm today. Zero shipping damage and other than a small nick on a missle rail it's just about perfect. Sure was worth the wait. My plan is finish the assemble tomorrow and get some flight time on it next week. I'll do the detail work and some additional paint work on it after I've flown it.
Like Colt mine will be Michigan ANG. Since I live close to the base and my son is in the ANG it just has to be. Besides they fly over my house.
