Think alpha is still in china, (not sure though), and tony is testing but still about. (Still waiting for my area 69 security pass so can't say for sure). I think the 190 will have to wait until I get my flightline bf 109 though. ;)
awesome news aros. Snoopy says it all... I'm ready. My credit card is ready. Go. :)

Hello Dahawk , If you allow, most of us have similar dilemmas, of course it is all about funding.
Half of my indecisiveness I solved by dropping out all modesl less than 55 '' (wingspan). I'm still have the other 50% of the ''problem'' .... I would like Tigercat, A-10 and new Spitfire, but it will be good if I can get new Spitfire , of course, if someone in Europe took over the sale'' FlightLine''. Let everything stay on our sweet dilemma.... all the best :Confused:Comment

Hey Mixdup. Shirty is a fellow Aussie so he'd know all the ins and outs of getting it down under, I'll see if I can't get him to post.

G'day mate, and welcome to the squawk.
For the soonest delivery, just watch the motion rc site. Bout a year and a half ago I worked with motion to allow us Aussies to buy through them when the p38 was released. Nowadays, they have a full range of international shipping options, I've used them several times already and absolutely zero issues. Freight costs are pretty reasonable too, and not far off buying in china and freight costs from there.
Like you, I'm hanging to get this spitty. It will be available at Motion RC first, so that's your best bet at getting one sooner rather than later. As an alternative, usually rc castle will get them about 2-3 months after motion. (Strongly recommend you DONT use the Aussie dealer in Brisbane, he'll happily take your money and you'll be lucky to see the plane in 2018, if at all... he has over 40 pages of complaints from Aussies about this very thing on another thread).
Anyway, when the spitty is available you'll see a pre-order button up on the motion rc website. (My info says this isn't far away, and I'd expect around June/July delivery as an estimate. That's just my best guess btw, don't hold me to it lol)
Once the preorder is up, just click on the button and go to the shopping cart, fill out your details and pay. Easy. Motion will take care of the rest.
Cheers mate. ;)Comment

Last I heard, Motion RC stopped shipping to Australia so it's good to hear that is no longer the case. I know what you mean about the dealer in Brisbane ;) Even tho I work around the corner from their store, I will not buy from them. I bought my FMS 1400 P-51 v8 from Aliexpress with no problems at a good price but I can't wait for this one so I will be straight on to Motion!
I'm budgeting around $600 Aussie dollars shipped - do you think that should cover it?
Cheers

G'day mate, to be honest - I've no idea what the pricepoint on this one will be, but I don't think you'll be far off. At a guess, the p38 is $349 usd, so that's $464 Aussie plus freight. I'd expect the spitty to be a bit cheaper, one less motor, esc etc - and they are a similar size.
I recently got another fms mustang and preordered the avanti from motion, freight was about $120 Aussie each - so that'd put the spitty around the $584 mark if same as the Lightning. ;)
Ps: spent a fair few years in brissy, (not far from you then I was in wakerley), my sister and my nephews still live there as well as a couple of cousins so I still get over there a bit. I'm from cairns originally, so go the mighty maroons lol. I assume you fly at tingalpa? Great spot to fly there.Comment
