Has anyone flown theirs in any kind of wind? Tony flew Brent's yesterday in about a 6 to 7 knot cross breeze and it kind of didn't like it. I will definitely be putting a gyro in mine.
Agree! A gyro would be a good idea in windy conditions. Otherwise, a nice flying plane which really looks cool in the air.
Brent - Thanks for the opportunity!
Best,
Tony
Any time, commander. And thank you for the tweeking. Your attention to everything is greatly appreciated. Now I feel confident in flying her. Jim Christofferson, Joe and I flying at Apollo tomorrow. Jim will have the option of flying any bird I have. He can't be that rusty!

FML... My B26 got off the ground and rolled to the right and crashed even with full left roll input never changed my controls so I don't know what happened. I guess I'll test the motors when I get home cause it was almost as if one motor either slowed or stopped in mid rollout
How many beers before you left the runway???? :Drinks: Sometimes you have to laugh or you will cry.... I am really sorry that it rolled in. How bad is the damage??? How is your AO now after the flooding?
Looks like like what happened was the panel that holds the spar in broke loose on the outer left wing, lifting that wing up and out of shape pushing the plane over itself. So no matter how much aileron input I gave the actual aileron acted like a booster and the wing tip the aileron. So no amount of input would overcome the wing tip
Well I couldn't fly my B-26 today the reason being that the retracts would not operate correctly they would retract completely but they wouldn't extend all at once or I would only get one or two wheels to extend at a time. I emailed MRC and they had me test the gear separately straight from the receiver and had found out the 3 way splitter for the retracts was bad. I am really beginning to wonder when this plane will ever see the flying field:Angry:
Today was the day for my B-26 maiden. Karltrek did the honors today and did a great job. He also re-maidened his B-26 after adding the ~3mm shim under the horizontal stabilizer. The 3mm shim makes all the difference!
